Those are definitely chains, and I guess the author intended them to be. As long as it says "send/forward this" (and isn't a petition of some sort) then it's a chain letter.

Gah, as long as people know about chain letters, they would continue to exist in our world. >.<

OH NOES!! OH MY!! Why must I die tomorrow? Why must my mommy die? OMGADD WHY ME!?!?!?!? MOMMY! DUN WRRY ILL SAVE UU *FORWARDS*

That is a stupid and retarded reply to a chain letter. It is simply deranged to think that your mother would die if a silly piece of text isn't shared.

Oh yes, and I made fun of a chiain letter once. Let me just find this... It was on Gaia, and when it was revised, it was based on Death Note.

try this out! send this 2 at least 10 people and then press F5! You'll get 10,000 gold

Revised version:

Try this out! Send this to 100,000,000,000,000,000 people. Then press UR_A_NUB. And you will get a heart attack in forty seconds, delivered by teh pwnness Kira himself!

LOL, chill, boy.

It was an over exaggerated remark to a chain letter. No need to worry.

But even so, don't you think at least some children know that their parents wouldn't die from a piece of text? Sure, they'd stop, read it over, and think about it. I guess the part where they add in the poem or the piece of text before the chain letter says "forward this" is convincing to the children. Perhaps. The people who make these chain letters are probably knowledgeable in psychology, who are able to write a simple piece of text that is convincing enough even to people who are not children.

Don't worry, haha. I used to send chain letters myself if I'm not mistaken. Every chain letter I got in my Gaia inbox, I'd forward. (*sighs* At that time, there was still a functio available for sending a message to all your friends... I believe the site removed it because of spam.) Once my two [weird] (I mean, how can friends report and get me banned from a site! But then again... what you think of the military, all bad deeds are revealed, no matter how close you are to someone. Wait... how'd I drag the military in here? LOL.) friends said that they'd report me because of all the spam they were receiving, I stopped sending chain letters, haha. And that's when I realized that were seriously dead annoying and in the spam-category.

I don't really have a place in my care bucket about spam... I usually get spam from Crunchyroll, but ne. As long as the spam doesn't kill my inbox, and as long as I can still see the mail that I'd like to read, then it's fine. ^^

I believe I just sent them for fun; for the sake of forwarding them because someone forwarded it to me in the first place. They weren't a big deal in my life back then, other than the fact that: a) my friends wanted to ban me if I kept spamming, b) I always got them in my inbox, and c) I think many of teh eople who I used to play with back then believed in them. But overall, no, the chain letters did not have a significant role to play regarding my life.

No, now the site removed the "send to friendslist" function to avoid spam. You're still able to send things to your friendslist, but you'd have to type out their names in the send box. And you'd have to send a couple of times because the send box can't hold that many names. xD~ I had to do that... For my guild. I'm a vice-captain, and I had to send a message to all the members and crew members to confirm their stay at the guild. Unfortunately, most of them didn't reply. And one of them said that the "post once a week in the guild forums" rule was "gay". Literally, that was their reply. "im still in lol.........but i think dat post once a week rule is gay" (They really did type something almost similar to that). But my reasoning was that there isn't any point to join a guild if you're not going to participate. And I'm right (LOL it's not to say that I'm arrogant but that is a statement that is definitely true.. isn't it?). If people like that won't participate, then they can just join fanlistings instead. I mean, all you have to do is join them and that's it. xD There's no participation in a fanlisting other than the fact that you participated in being a fan of a subject. LOL~. I really hate it when people don't make use of something they promised to use purposefully. =__= It's darn annoying.

someone sent me the second one before, and i was like 'omg' i wanted to cry (i'm just too emotional). it's a good reminder though, for us not to drink and drive. you dont only endanger yourself, you cause harm to others too :(
the first one is actually quite meaningful :D
i guess there are some chains which are not as... well, meaningless.

i used to receive chains all the time i (very stupidly) forward them each time, causing so many friends to grumble at me(yeah). then i started getting frustrated(coz the chains just appear every single day!) and i delete the mails(if i know it's a chain) w/o even opening it anymore. yep chains suck, and i'm glad i got rid of that stupid habit of mine to forward chains

i got this in my emai it has no really good value like the stone and sand one but i learned something from it

This incident happened recently in North Texas.

A woman went boating one Sunday taking with her some cans of coke which she put into the refrigerator of the boat. On Monday she was taken to the hospital and placed in the Intensive Care Unit. She died on Wednesday.

The autopsy concluded she died of Leptospirosis. This was traced to the can of coke she drank from, not using a glass. Tests showed that the can was infected by dried rat urine and hence the disease Leptospirosis.

Rat urine contains toxic and deathly substances. It is highly recommended to thoroughly wash the upper part of soda cans before drinking out of them The cans are typically stocked in warehouses and transported straight to the shops without being cleaned.

A study at NYCU showed that the tops of soda cans are more contaminated than publ ic toilets (i.e).. full of germs and bacteria. So wash them with water before putting them to the mouth to avoid any kind of fatal accident.

Please forward this message to all the people you care about.
