Hey all. Since we're on this subject:

Actually, if anybody truly wants to leave, leave.

Shinji's not the type to blame anyone for it, and I won't cry over members who has left. Nobody can force anyone to do anything something that's truly against their wishes, I mean, it does take some time to get to know a community and the people there. If you think you haven't known us well, and leave, we won't feel hurt, simply because we don't know you well either. If you've grown attached and still want to leave, then we respect your decision.

Personally, I have my respect for people who keep to their word firmly, so I hope when any of you here say you're leaving, it better be a final decision that's gone through some consideration - not something out of a rash action. Many a times in the other forum I mod, I've seen people threaten/claim/announce their leaving, but stick on thinking that people'll forget - it gets a little tiring after a while, then it gets on the nerves, making me want to KEEP them away.

Another thing I want to address is, since WHEN has CR posted up a banner saying that 'We're the best site around!!!!!!!!!!'? I don't recall seeing any narccistic statements like that anywhere. In my impression that I've got all these times, Shinji's taken on a more humble approach as to expanding the site to something that he's been aiming to achieve. It's his personal goals he wants to achieve, not a tyrannical conquest round the net. If any of you have gotten the impression that CR is a quality site, it is probable that you yourselves think so, and we probably are. Else we have really proud members of CR spreading the word. Cos if CR's webmaster is an arrogant jerk, I won't even be here. (My profile firmly states what I hate, anyway)

Of course, saying all these, CR would love to have our members stick around. We just hope that there's still mutual respect for the people and staff here. Where rules are set, please abide by them, where friendships are built, please retain the bond. Because if you don't care, why should we? Mods like me are such bitches, sometimes.

Or Mods like you just speak their mind.

Why are you leaving ?

The anime does not suck and maybe in time they'll upload the " Good ones" again.

Don't you have buddies you like talking to and can only talk to on CR ?

I was going to leave, yet I liked cr so much because I made so many good friends in cr and also all the anime were whole and not in parts like youtube had most anime. However I kept coming back each time I finished a ep on youtube and then one day I check on the anime and it was back. I was so happy, I'll be staying here for a while, going to stay until the last day of cr (let's hope there will never be a day like that. ^ ^)

I respect what you say, I am way too loyal to leave, I have grow to love this site and it's fun here. Getting to know different people from my county and different ones. Also anime, the real reason most of us are here. So I can't complain about cr, and I have nothing to complain about, the problem is solved. So let's just forget about the problem and just enjoy what cr has to give. I have to give my thanks to Shinji and the staff for keeping themselves in order and trying hard. ^ ^ Leave if you really want, nobody can stop you, it's your will. If you don't like how this site works, well sorry and don't come back. Just be grateful on what it has. Shinji, you're going to get a late Christmas present later on. ^ ^

Lmao, I think it's hilarious when something like this happens & people freak out and go insane.

If you want to leave, go right ahead. No one's stopping you, and I doubt you'll be missed.

As for everyone who's pissed off at the companies, that's just ridiculous. They have every right to have their series removed from this site & any other site that has anime. Once a company licenses it, it's their property, not yours and not this site's. If you really want to watch it that bad, either turn on your television or go rent/buy it.

I'm fairly certain that, if the series weren't removed, than the companies could indeed take legal action & sue. It's happened already to youtube. Many Japanese networks have sent letters to the site demanding that their series be removed. It's gotten to the point where, last week, representatives for youtube actually had to go to Japan to discuss matters with the Japanese networks.

Whenever a company says to remove their shows, they aren't doing it just to be jackasses, not matter what you might think. They're doing it because of legal reasons.

well youtube and CR paved the way for me to watch all of my fav animes. i really hate this copyright stuff by anime companies. i mean, if i really like the anime, then i WILL buy the dvds. i have a couple of anime dvds.

i hope there's a way that animes can be offered to the fans for free and still buy the dvds later...u know both sides win.

but i guess that's just wishful thinking

If you gonna whine, then why don't you ask people to upload more anime, let's see, who can you ask? Me maybe. My family owns tons of anime, so stop whining and do something about it. There are plenty of torrent sites that you can download from. I am not mad, not at all (it's hard to lie when you are mad. ^ ^) Yet I forget about this thread, and I bet some moderator will delete it soon, yet I guess people learned their lesson about rushing to a conclusion. I cooled down, so now I am happy. Cake,or pie anyone?

.... I read Fae's post and it makes me feel guilty for being mean T_T. Really though, if you want to leave go. Apologies for being a bitch =P, but people get my nerves when they act ungrateful.

EDIT: Read why it's gone here: http://www.crunchyroll.com/showforumtopic?id=1404&pg=0
