if that happened in the US then i would cry...crunchyroll has been the site for me if i ever wanted to watch something...all the sites aren't that great and don't have much to offer...i hope nothing like that starts happening...

I don't think I feel sorry for japanese people who cannot watch CR because, first of all these animes, and dramas had been aired in Japan. they don't need to have english subtitles unless they want to watch other country's movies and dramas like in Korea and Taiwan. I believe that they have many stores on which they can buy these stuffs.

But if you think about it, if Japan is planning to block P2P networks, they wouldn't be able to download the anime themselves unless people would be kind enough to put it to direct download sites or something like that... =[
Or if they just have some other japanese website that shows all the shows they need, then that's a bit bitter! but I wonder how many people from japan actually go here o.o

They can watch it on TV though... or on NicoNico which usually has anime a little while after it airs in Japan. If they can't understand Japanese though I feel sorry for them. D:
