Unofficially, it's also a good opportunity for potential employees to learn how to be creative with truth. On CV/resume: "When I was in Tibet for a month I worked at a social club, teaching the locals English." Truth: "I spent all my time at a Tibetan bar, getting drunk with the locals while teaching them how to swear in English."
