Like it says in the description, anyone who has problems with there emulators(vba, no$gba,ideas..etc) can ask the good people on cr to help. Also, no spamming or double posting please, this topic is just for people who have problems with their emulators, including me...
Just post questions, & try to answer if you're good at this type of stuff. Don't bash the newbies, ok? Just 'cuz they have questions, doesn't mean they're stupid.

Note:If there is another topic like this, feel free to lock this topic & give a link to the other one.

I'm having a problem playing the Ds games on no$gba, so if any of you guys can help, I'd appreciate that....

i also have a problem in NDS emulator, i can't play Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and Dawn of Sorrow because you can't see the character, only the background!

is there a problem in the emulator or do i need a newer version?

Yeah, go on emulator-zone.com and then get the Ideas emulator, it's the best

You should have 1 or 2GB of RAM, high quality video cards (Geforce7 series and up recommended.)

Not all games are compatible with all emulators, for instance, Heroes of Mana or Lost Magic won't work on Ideas. it's just something that needs to be updated by the makers.

And whut! you can get GB ram? like woah. O_o;;

I have a slow computer and a crappy graphic card and it works pretty well, apart from the 3d games are kinda slow.

other than no$gba, wht others are good? i saw these at www.romsite.net

- DeSmuME 0.40
- IDeaS 1.0.1.1
- Ensata
- Dualis R20.3

currently,im using no$gba..it seems to work on most of the games..
my friend used IDeaS before but he told me that there are some graphic glitches..im not sure which version he used, if there are any..
im just wondering which is the best though..

The DS has two processers with a clock combined of about 100 mh/z, it has 4mb of ram, and all in all its pretty weak, for emulation wasnt it a system had to be 10 times more powerfull? A computer five years old is 10 times more powerfull then that, 2 gigs ram seems kinda steep for a mere ds O_o
