I think it's okay as long as the song sound nice. Some songs sucks but artists did try their best.

Some are okay, and some just makes me want to kill myself.. I mean, WHYYY is it that every 3rd word is in English though the singer can't spell at all...!?

ooh pretty avatr, mankilaba!

uh...where was i...I find it amusing that they use English in their songs (Japanese, Koreans, ect.) in the sense that it's cute. But I agree that if it sounds good (like Anna Tsuchiya's stuff) then I'm okay with it. Because I can actually sing along and not go, "wtf did she just say? was that russian? oh, wait..that was english."

But when the pronunciation is just horrible, I bash. I'm bipolar, I know. Like, Micky (DBSK) in O. "Yo, Uknow, let's try some noise bit." Omfg what is up with that! Let's try a noisy beat, NOISY beat, Micky. For the love of God.

But hey, what can you do? They think it's great, it sells over in the nations and we...we just roll our eyes and say, "Awww how cute! You meant apple! Not oppa!" and continue jamming.

eh, i think it's cute. i'm used to hearing accented english in SoCal anyways.

plus it's just part of the song. it's sometimes catchier than saying it in the original language. no matter how bad the grammar. lol.

sometimes i find it impacting my own english tho~ *sweatdrop*

I love how the Japanese use english in their songs. I also love how they say random english phrases in their dramas. I find it cute, and especially when it doesn't sound perfect.

I like it. I think it's uber tubular when they use it.

I don't really care if it sounds good. But my hubby hates it. He always make fun of the groups/singers who does that.

It's okay if they can pronounce the words properly, but when I can't make out what they're saying at all I don't really like it.

If it flows with the song, then yeah, it rocks.

But there are bands like Abingdon Boys School (sp?) who butchered a song with crappy English pronounciation. Utada Hikaru really does do English justice, seeing that she was born in NYC and she actually knows if it works or not since she translates her songs.

Chinese... Blah. Korean's alright, their pronounciation's not that bad.

I just hate randomass English phrases in songs. It;s weird. It's the equivalant of English songs adding say, Greek in a line of a song or something.
