i didn't want death note to finish the way it did but i can't say that death note ending is a hated anime endin.
The mos hated anime ending for me is evangelion

okay...i've read a lot and thought i wasn't tyhe only one that hated code geass' ending so i freaked out...

well at first it is a GOOD as in G.O.O.D. (enough to make it my favorite color)...

but what disappointed me is yeah, the ending...it would have been a whole lot better if lelouch didin't lose control of the geass...grrr...

but still waiting for the next season!

I hated the ending of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu just because it was the end of the series. I still read the light novels =).
By the by, I thought the School Days ending was very good, mainly because it isn't part of the norm. No happiness at the end, just psychotics.

Gilgamesh , i do not understand the ending all of the characters died at kiyoko at the end?? why killed she the little girl and laughed about it???

i don't know if it is just me but i liked both.Honey and clover and Paradise Kiss I mean..makes me think that not all endings are happy and though it made you wish they were, at least it showed a great ampount of reality in it...(except for finding dozens of clovers)(so liked it i wrote it in my fave color)

P.S. it really said that she ended up with her first crush...I mean that was so great...yukari and george would just be dragging each other down so i think its for the best...though their L.O.V.E. thing was real enough to make me cry when they seperated...

when everyone says they didn't like the end to Evangelion, do you mean the series or End of Evangelion, the movie?

some animes of love-romance genre or a little bit of that, i may say, they didn't end quite the way the viewers expected them to; at least, I for one. To list, here are some I evaluated "HANGING" and I think might need next season perhaps? he-he. :

In other animes, what disappointed me most was the Death Note. Chrysoberryl and I went really "Huh?! That's it?!" Ohh,, but it made sense in the end, though. It's just my opinion that ... he-he.
