well good headphones cost alot of money but my neighbors get mad when i listen to dubstep or rent movies. head phones have better directionality but tend to lack good highs and lows without an amp. i vote speakers

Depends what time it is
If its late then I use head phones
its it during the day then go with speakers

I like to feel the ground shake from the vibration...so I gotta go with speakers although headphones are good for when your out and about or on a bus or something.

If I can get away with it then speakers, I listen to music really loud so speakers are better for not being deaf in a year's time, for anime, moves, TV, etc I can use either as I listen at a more appropriate level.
