in japanese when we say good morning 2 an important person we add the term gozaimasu
example: when i want 2 say thank u 2 my boss i´ll say :Arigatou Gozaimasu..

mimi above you spelled it "arigatou". i would maybe go with "arigato"
i wouldn't use "oo" unless the word really calls for you to hold that "oo" sound.

People often say these as small phrases in Japan.
(dont ask...i notice)

Im sure these are VERY familiar~

"Nani"
and
"Sayanora"
