Aihara Kouichi wakes from a dream where his younger self was crying. When he goes to answer the door, he finds a beautiful woman standing in front of him. She quickly enters while reacquainting herself with things in the house, and even enters the shower. A confused Kouichi tries to remember if he knew a girl like this in the past, when his friend Aihara Kazuki comes in. A misunderstanding is caused when the girl comes out of the bathroom, but she suddenly realizes who Kazuki is. Kazuki also realizes who the girl is: Mizusawa Mao. Finally realizing that this is his childhood friend, Kouichi welcomes Mao back. When Kouichi’s mother begins talking to Mao about her living in France, Kouichi notices how much Mao has changed.

Wonderfully introduced and well ended, this series takes its time to build the plot, set the scenes and tell a story about the relationships between a group of high school friends. The story is well planned, well thought out and not rushed at all, fitting perfectly within each episode and continuing flawlessly on to the next. It really makes you feel for the characters and seems to draw the viewer into the story as it progresses. The music fits perfectly with the animation style, and while I was not too fond of the opening song, the ending song fit great every time. The ending was also a good one, not great, but not bad either. Overall, a good watch.

Nice anime.. got 8-10 for me.. the plot is great, but got to put a hands down in the ending though, sucks for it.. but, it's great. the sound in the beginning and ein the ending are catchy.. Heheheh.. And each of the characters are well describe.. needs a second season though..The series was produced by J.C. Staff and directed by Kenichi Kasai.. same director for Nodame Cantabile and Honey and Clover.
