I was just watching an episode of Hitman Rebron when i realized something.

A lot of Characters from different animes are usually not that popular but should be. u no they are either Strong or fast or even smart but the character is always seen as less important as some others

A character that is like this is Ryohei from KHR

he is a funny ass character and it super strong. he destoyed a building with one punch. he also won his sun ring and didnt lose like 2 more Main Characters but yet he is in only half the series and even bearly has any fights

So here is a topic for u to rant about your most under rated Character

Kazuma from Tantei Gakuen Q. I mean, hes in elementary school and he got into the most famous detective school in all of Japan, while competing against other people that are way older. <~ Proving age means NOTHING. ^0^ Sure, hes a computer geek. But wow, hes got skills! I mean, he created his first game at the age of 7 I think. He can also think of situations to solve a locked room murder simply by inputting the data into his computer. Hes got crazy computer skills. Hes a main character, people notice him, yet Ryu, Kyu, and Megumi always take the spotlight he so much deserves.

*cough* I was thinking of putting Ichimoku Ren from Jigoku Shoujo but I think I read off somewhere hes the most liked character in Jigoku Shoujo -- even though he doesn't get seen much in the show. O.o

Kanna "the other guy in Bakumatsu" Sakyounosuke, he deserves a greater role....

Shirley Fennette in Code Geass, she is a nice girl but we see too less of her...

Nunally Lamperouge from Code Geass. She's Lelouch's sister, so I doubt she doesn't know what's happening around her. She may be blind, but I think she's gonna have a big importance in the second season because they haven't even showed her in any of the ads or commercials.

As soon as I saw the title of this forum I thought: Matt (from Death Note) Really, the biggest thing he does in the series is die. But I don't know if he counts seeing as he has a million fangirls. Also Lanfan in the FMA manga.

Suzaku from Code Geass!

For some reason (though I understand in a way) Suzaku is hated. But really, if you think about it, he was a good friend to Lulu and Lulu betrayed him first (Zero and whatnot). On top of that, he's not a bad person (ignore his sense of justice). His refusal to join the Black Knights was justified too, didn't people see them as a terrorist group?

So I can't understand why people hate him so much.

He betrayed everyone living in Japan the moment he decided he has the right to decide the fate of the country by killing his father. He's hardly doing things for the sake of justice, every action of his to help other people stems from his guilt of killing his father. I would hardly consider him underrated, he deserves most of the hate he gets. It's not so much that his sense of justice that's annoying, it's the fact that he's hypocritical and arrogant, while trying to hide that fact.

Lelouch betrayed him? Lelouch had multiple chances to kill him or render him completely useless. He didn't do so out of their friendship. Not to mention the fact that Lelouch having saved him as Zero a couple of times already, once during his execution and once during the Chinese attack.

That's true. But on the other hand, if he hadn't killed his father, war/massacre would have started right? Even though Britannia took over, he prevented what would have been a bloodbath. And yes, he does feel guilty, but he's repenting and feeling the burden all the time. Doesn't that deserve some pity at least? (I came by a Suzaku should die topic). Suzaku also saved a lot of people too (he saved the woman from falling ex)

(don't get me wrong, Lelouch is my favorite character, but Suzaku deserves some thought too!)

So to save people, you kill the people's leader so they don't get to choose their own fate? The Japanese wanted to fight, he stripped away their ability to do so. Just so you know, Japan being rebellious results from the fact that they never had a chance to defend themselves, due to the assassination. I'm sure quite a number of people died in the rebellions that ensued. How did that actually help the people there?

He did save people, the problem lies in why. That's like someone saving someone for a reward, but the reward here is for him to retain his sanity. He's feeling guilty yet he's still being hypocritical. He was the reason the Japanese were denied the chance of fighting Britannia during the invasion and does so again after so many years, by preventing the rebellion.

He feels pity, guilt, and burden? I'm sure Lelouch feels so too after killing his half-sister that he deeply cares about. Does Suzaku care? Nope.
