Haha see! Oji-san is a perfect title for u aj!!!

*sigh* I could teach you how to use torrenting... and if your actually torrenting the right things and keeping the right things on your hard drive... you shouldn't have a problem xD!!

I'm a graphic artist, so I got quite a lot of images... I think 20,000 in total number of files... But since they're all either compressed, or already Jpegs, they take up around 2~3gigs... So hehe, I could keep downloading more xD

As for music... I've got a dozen gigs worth or so... but it depends from person to person how much they store...

Other media files vary as well... videos and recordings might add up... But nothing sucks up space like software... *sigh* Photoshop is a pretty huge file, not including plug-ins and all the other doodads...

But if you have a lot... get a separate storage hard drive to store things on, preferably something fast... 140,000RPM quarter terrabyte hard drives are really worth the investment... I have a 70gig one... and I'm just about to fill it up, that's why I'm getting a top end PC before I go off to college^^

Yeah, I have a couple of PC's and a couple of Mac's. I really prefer the Mac's. All have over 160GB hard drives and most are laptops. Most of my personal and business work is stored on seperate 500 or more GB Hard Drives which I can access on any of my computers. I have about the same amount of images, most are my own and a ton of music, a lot from bands I know, used to play with, have shared shows with, just like, or stuff that I recorded myself or by using my brothers recording studio. As for Movies, I only keep video on the drive if its currently being worked on. Other than that, it is stored on disk, including all the original work. As for programs, I run everything from final cut pro, to iTunes, Garage Band to Photoshop and Aperature. Aperature is especially usefull for my Nikon, Cannon and Minolta Cameras.

I try my best to buy them, when i have money in my pocket.

But you know, time and again i am just so disappointed by the quality of the DVD.Just the other day,i bought Sabrina,an english movie.Everything is good, until the end.I couldn't see the most crucial part where they made up and kiss! And this happened to other DVD i owned like Titanic. When i download, the quality is much better

What are you buying pirated films? I got a few of those when I was in korea, the UAE and Iraq... I tell you, that is a total waste! I ALWAYS get the real film on dvd. Course, here in the States, there is virtually no pirate market for hollywood films. Hell, even independant films are released in High Def now.

It IS DVD,and it is not cheap damn it.Believe it or not,the pirated version is better than the DVD one.I dont know why but all my DVD collection are crap.Like in Titanic,i can't see the part when the ship sinks!

LOL... sorry... maybe they were damaged durring recording? Or, like Space said, a magnet accidentally got near it? I dont know, never had a problem with DVD's myself.

I use a mac at school... but I really don't care for them... Maybe just because I've become so attuned to using PCs, I just know how to get some power ups to work better than macs... Though It's a nice open up and go platform though... So if I were to get a laptop, it probably would be a macbook...

Hahha, I'm still working on trying to play the guitar... not very proficient yet>.< xD

Yeah, macs are overall generally better right from the get go. Thier even considered the fastest computers on the market when bought standard and without upgrades compared to PC's of the same quality. I love em, along with the applications and processing capabilities designed around media, graphics, etc. Though I dont quite know how they compare when it comes to programming and stuff like that.

Yeahhh... I started playing instruments back in third grade. I think. Started drawing when I could pick up a pencil, martial arts around the age of four along with shooting. Actually, I started a lot of stuff at a young age... LOL!

Ya, I started everything around the same age as you xD

My mother was a piano teacher, so I got lessons from as far back I could remember, but I kinda gave up cause my mother had to do other things... But my father showed me his guitar(acoustic) by them time I was in jr high... Got into a bit, but it was a bitch to lug it around in hong kong, since it was so cramped and all... So when I got here, I didn't do much... but I wanted to buy a guitar since last year, so my cousin lent me his acoustic, kinda got tired of it since it wasn't the genre I really listen to. I got my savings and bought myself an electric... been pretty much practicing by myself... xD^^ It's a lot of fun haha, though sometimes I feel like playing some acoustic from time to time.

As for shooting, still have yet to touch a real gun^^

As for macs being faster, well in their own way yes... Though I can safely say my soon to be computer will probably not even break a sweat compared to the mac^^ The mac is just has a much more simplistic OS, and since all it's apps are pretty much made by apple, there isn't all that junk jumbled up by other company's programmers... so there's a lot more quality control in that respect. Though by far, PCs are still my cup of tea^^

I completely understand. The biggest problem with PC's, is the simple fact that everything is always made by someone else. Microsoft, for example, makes only the OS and software, then, it is left strictly up to the company who makes the hardware to make sure everything is compatable and works properly. This is why PC's always have a huge problem when it comes to compatability and upgrades. With a Mac, everything is done "in house", so it works right the first time and you never ever see something equivlant to the "blue screen of death". Also, since almost the entire world uses PC software, their are untold numbers of viruses, trojans, bugs, spyware, etc. created for PC's... while, their are none for Mac's. I never have to worry about any of that stuff simply because the OS is based off of Unix... if the system doesnt recognize the code specifically as part of it, it is instantly brought to the user as a possible "program", identified and deleted. Also, once you delete something, thats it, its gone forever. Wheres as with Windows, the system itself secretly copies every single thing you do and stores it in a data base that the user can not access... which is ehy windows systems slowly but surely become slower and slower with time. Lastly, windows is designed off of a cascading file system... delete one file and the entire system crashes... while Mac OS is based off of Unix... re-write it, re-whape it, re-form it, hell, delete it and it still works.

As for hobbies... Yeah... Shooting, martial arts, fine arts, travel, etc... all started at a young age for me too...

Yup... thats who I go to... but I would rather use CR as I am loyal to CR...

However, just like going to Veoh when I can not view an anime due to licenceing on CR, One Manga will still remain in my listings...
