The series is apparently like a remake of the whole thing. New storyline, so Rin could probably end up with a different girl (Although I liked Asa chan best..). That was the latest thing they said.

Well I kinda figured that's what it was about... But really the way it was done was frustrating and hurtful... he really didnt deserve anyone in the end
I just found it kinda stupid he couldnt tell someone he didn't like them.... I mean even if you're not sure, why hurt them eitherway? Just say NO!

Probably because I tend to overanalyse things not necessarily because im female :O I had a spread of personnality disorders for the entire cast of Shuffle by the end of the series

Also remember that this is Japanese Culture. For some guys, its dificult to just decide a single girl out of many who likes you. Also many guys in Japan believe its wrong to hurt girls by choosing others (of course not all).

Also its not like he didnt like anyone in the anime, he liked all since they all had feelings for him, but each person had a feeling from long ago, that it was even more difficult to just say "no"

O yeah for some people who didnt like the first season or did, the remake is suppose to be much better than the first (after reading reports on the main page of shuffle! memories), but if you really didnt enjoy the first season, well you might be dissapointed. But for those who did enjoy, it should be awsome.

Ok, first I will say I liked and disliked this anime for many reasons, but you have this totally wrong. He let her stay out of obligation. Need I remind you that she tried to kill him.


Like he had a choice. Put the shoe on your foot. A god and a demon show up and tell you to choose between their daughters or else.


This is one of the reasons I dislike this anime. The downhill rollercoaster of emotional states is mind boggling. Let's stick to funny, romantic, or psychotic or any two of the three, but not all three.

What bothered me is that her suffering was quite obvious. Why not stop it? Tell her he doesn't feel anything for her instead of letting it get worst? Or if he doesnt think she has feelings for him... just tell her to stop taking care of him. He took advantage of her because he didn't know what he wanted...or because he was too lazy to take care of himself? that's how i saw it. If she has such an emotional problem, even more the reason... and all this "I dont remember my past" makes no sense at all... People don't just randomly lose their memory...Id understand blocking out the almost being killed bit but all the other stuff... And then this also pulls into my second disliking of the show ... the girls passiveness... I mean the orange haired girl just sat back and let herself be walked on, driving herself completely nuts... and then once everything is said and done it's a happy ending where everyone is still all in love with him despite him having chosen? Get a life ladies...

It's not each thing seperatly that angered me in the anime, it's the combination of everything...
oh and the slitting wrists at the end was just wrong all by itself... nice message there

Meowsa. . .I totally agree with you. . .When there is a weak guy in a harem series who can't decides who he likes. . .I end up the way you do frustrated and really want to kill someone because I probably didn't like who he picked or whatever. . .

But I like other harems where he just really liked one and everyone has a crush on him but he holds them at bay making his feelings clear. . .Hmm I think the title of that one is sheesh I can't remember. . .i'll get back to you on that one. . .

Anyways, it can't be helped really. If just had chosen whichever one he liked with no regards to the others feelings, that's just plain evil. Then I'd be pissed and go stab him,b but he had tried not to hurt the other's feelings, so I'm not pissed.

Yay I just finished Shuffle! i liked the ending a lot, anyone played the PS2 or PC game of Shuffle?

Well... I "played" it. OMIGOSH! ;p (<<<don't know japanese ^^) Anyways I've read that the story got completely deformed. They tried to put every girl's story into the anime and it became a big pile of mud. For example there was NO psycho Kaede (rite that's her name Azian ^^), no going to the scientific center to save Primula etc. Hopefully the new series will be better.
