This is just something I found while browsing a Christian bookstore one day. I don't know where it comes from, nor who the author is, but it has been a very cheery thought to me many times.
"A man was looking back at the path of his life. His footsteps were embedded into the road like footsteps in the sand. He saw that during most of his life, there were two pairs of footprints along the way. But, in the very hardest places, there was only one pair of footprints. He turned to God and said, 'Lord, why did you desert me and leave me alone in the hardest places of my life? Why did you abandon me then?' God replied, 'My child, it was then that I carried you.'

So awesome. I remember at least four times in my life I could have died, or been severely injured. The only way I survived was through God. I know a friend who was in a car accident. She was mostly unhurt, which was amazing. God has always worked things out in my life. How has God worked out bad situations in your life?
