The Gods before time.
Vincent's family.

In the age before creation there was a caste of Gods, the Endrown. They lived as Kings and Queens of an empty existence, each impossibly powerful. But as a God before anything was created they ruled over nothing, had no subjects or territory. So, they each created a realm.

-----

Cu'el mu'nadra Haitra - God of the first storm, created the lands of Tempest. A world always being assaulted by some kind of storm, be it a hurricane or just rain.

There he created his race, the Tempestra. Human in appearance but all marked with a type of weather pattern on their fair skin. Be it a lightning bolt or hail, but this was not just any mark.

It was a gift from Haitra, the ability to control a property of a storm. Some elegant as the wind, others as fierce and loud as thunder.

-----

Cu'el mu'nadra Vauh - God of the first flame, created the lands of Infernis. A barren world marked by volcanoes and rivers of molten rock. Forever changing.

There he created his race, the Blaze. Beings of fire and blood, hateful and arrogant. And as bad tempered as their lord Vauh.

-----

Cu'el mu'nadra Strala - God of the first tear, created the lands of Sorrow.

Nothing grew or was able to sustain life in this realm.

Anything that entered fell down in grief and cried themselves to death.

-----

Cu'el mu'nadra Gota - God of the first fang, created the lands of Willder. Populated with beasts of great power, ranging from the microscopic to mountainous.

-----

Cu'el mu'nadra Naqua - God of the first sea, created the ocean realm of Deepp. Populated with fish and her race Depal.

Fish like beings as calm as the sea, but when angered they are like a tsunami.

-----

Those where the realms that the Endrown's most powerful created, the weakest soon joined a side.

Dopplegangers are peculiar creatures, they possess the ability to recreate from thats which has already been created. Recycling if you may. At birth they are completely human, this ability of theirs is innate until they reach a certain age. The age varies from individual to individual, but when it is reached, they forsake everything they have come to know and start life anew by venturing out on their own. This makes it impossible to stay in touch with childhood friends. Now, for the next few years, three or four at the most, they travel the world in search of something worthy of them becoming a copy of. When they find this thing that they highly value, they begin the process of self-recreation. This is when their innate ability becomes manifest. The doppleganger examines the subject from a distance, learning the personality, daily habits, skills, names, and whatever else is required to be known. Most of the time it is done without permission, although it is asked for and given on rare occasions. Even if it is not given, then they then the doppleganger will simply do it from afar, they will become a copy regardless. During the recreation process, if the subject comes under harm, then the copier will protect them. Although this is not always the case, it is most of the time. After years of observation, they go under a transmutative change. This change is slow and gradual, but upon completion, the doppleganger will change their name to that of the subject. It is spelled using a different variation if the name. For example, using a "K" to replace a "C" or an "X" to replace an "S". This is for the identification of a doppleganger. Seldom are the targets terminated after all is done with and over. This is usually because they test themselves later by fighting them.

Cedric's Notes:

"What is a Nobody? I have researched for years and have found little data. I believe Nobodies are existences created when time is changed. For example, if a person was to kill someone but they didn't, a Nobody of that person would be created. This only occurs in Time Alteration. I think the cause of Nobody creations is by The Oracle, an artifact I had until it was stolen shortly before the Maverick Incident. A fact I've discovered is that Nobodies have the same name as the original but the letters are rearranged. For example, a person named Axel might have a Nobody named Alex."

Death in This World - Prose by Yours truly (Larac, blacksheep12)

I pity the mage that dies in this world
for his existence was for moor.

The purity of blood,
and dedication to Gods,
leads you to heavenly grandeur
and servitude to Angelic lore.

The maester and the elemental
the cowardice pets to
the might of Angels and Gods.
The servants and mantle.
The poor ordained sods.

I pity the beast that rots in this realm
for sure will be, his eternal anguish.

The lineage of flagitious
The dance of heresy
His vile veins
To hell with the malicious

Vampirs and abominations
destined to fall in the claws of demons
to be whored and consumed
burned and infinitely doomed.
The pathetic, in their infernal womb.

I pity the ghost who has not done the blessed nor wretched.
for his fate is worse than all.
to relive this world till the end had passed.
The endless cylce of souls.

The Lost Tradition of Dueling

Foreword: There has been a tradition long ago. Only a few have knowledge of it now, a couple of Gods, old aged Angels and Dragons. This tradition was commonly called as Dueling, or honor combat. Unlike any other battles, a Duel is either played with an honor system, a seal or a magical contract between the combatants.
In the past famous Duels were written to entertain, and to be immortalized in historical texts. Battle data could be analyzed from these Duels, from unique spells recorded from great Mages to worthy moves from praiseworthy Human warriors.
If libraries that recorded these Duel survived, we could have at least learned from the former greats. Gods who bent the reality of a flame to be altered into liquid, Humans who defeated countless Gods with just sheer technique and wit, Dragons proudly exposing their unique genetic ability and Conjurers who summoned a truly magnificent being from another dimension to do his bidding.
Dueling has been a testament of the past of how Honor works, unlike now, only Nobles, friends and kin know the art of honor. Nowadays a combat would either be a cowardly attempt of assassination, or a reflection of just sheer strength. This would probably be the reason why Dragons created a better dimension than the Mystical Realm.
Dueling is one of the greatest lost arts of the past. If it were present today, we would be witnessing and learning from powerful beings.
- Larac Ale'r Dan

Honor Duel:
-An honor Duel doesn't require any spells or contract. The trust between the Duelists is all that's needed.
The Rules for this duel are:
1. The one who declare a duel can only engage if the receiver accepts the offer.
2. The receiver will be the first to declare the condition of engagement.
- i.e. No weapons, no fire casting spells, no seals or only hand to hand combat.
3. The first can even the condition of engagement, to suit his ability in compliance to the receivers.
- i.e. No weapons but summoning is ok, no fire casting spells also no ice casting spells, hand to hand combat and enchantments only.
4. When the Duelist agree to an even amount of conditions, the battle can commence.
5. A witness may or may not be present.

Duel within a seal/Seal Duel:
-A Duel involving seals is a much more complicated one, because it requires someone with esoteric knowledge with seals. The battle of these seals will be either, the duelists would be inside a large area seal where rules of the Seal will be applied or a seal carved or placed in the duelists. The Seals can distort the environment(i.e. create landscapes), alter reality (i.e make gravity heavier), and can act as a timer on the battlefield. Unlike the honor duel, this battle can be engaged even without the receiver's acceptance.
The rules for this duel are:
1. A seal must be created, to accommodate both the Duelist. It may be a witness who cast the seals, one of the duelist or both create a hybrid seal.
- Environmental Seal; these seals may be agreed upon depending the duelists agreement(with or without it). Seals could act as a reality distortion, landscape distortion or create illusions for the battle.
- Duelist Seal; a duelist seal would be a fairly agreed upon duel. The seals would be in the skins of the duelist or on their prices.
2. Duelist Seals can be placed or casted on, Rules of Duelist Seal;
- The duelist can be casted on the duelist
- On the rewards
- Seal acts as a timer
- Seal can act as a nullifier to the duelist's abilities (upon agreement)
- A duelist seal can be agreed to act as a inconvenience, like the honor duel the duelist seal must be qualitatively equal.

Contract Duel:
-Unlike the other duels, a contract Duel is often used in competition and or winning property. The contract may either be spell wrapped or documentary. Unlike the first two, the contract duel is common in the present day but rarely done. Spellbound contracts are a rare document, only Ancient Texts from highly esoteric Magus' could have the nuff power to create these spellbound contracts. Demons, Gods and Angels have also been rumored to create these contracts.
1. The rules of a contract depends on the contract. The contract Duel can be uneven when it comes to the rewards and the rules.

The conditions on how the Duel is won:
1. First Blood
2. Time Limited
3. Death match
4. Give up

The Elder's Seal

To continue the presence of order and a higher power, the first Elders devised a system. This system uses seals to accomplish this omni-presence of power and order. The first set of Elders made a unified decision to transfer their powers and knowledge to the next set. For this to happen, they needed a way to do it. Thus, they chose seals to carry out this job. They modified and combined the transference seal and a storage seal to create a unique seal with this purpose in mind. Each Elder then created a seal unique to them.. From this point on, the seals have remained the same, regardless of the wearer. This is also the reason that each seal has their own name. Most , however, did not receive one till they reached a certain Elder, such as Izen named his Izenite.

In order to move power from one seal to the next, the previous Elder with the seal must be dead. When they die, the seal will glow a set color and the power will be transferred to the next being with the seal on their skin. After the power is drained, the seal seal will stop glowing and turn into a scar. The one receiving will experience this exact process, in this exact order. The only difference would be that the scar does not scar up, but instead, becomes tattooed to the bone. Some believe that the tattoo does not stop at the bone, but stains through to the soul. All previous Elder's still have this “Bone Tattoo” and will forever on their remains. In death, the “Bone Tattoo” prevents the skeletal corpse from breaking down into dust over time. This means that their remains will last forever. If, by some chance, the seal is not carried over onto another person, the seal won't leave their remains. The seal will only scar over if the seal is redrawn on a living person. What if the seal is drawn on more then a single person, but on a group? This would mean that the seal won't transfer the power unless one remains. The seal can be drawn as many times as one wishes and on anything except a person or animal. What then, if an animal is tattooed with the seal? The animal, upon receiving the power, will become humanoid in form and possess qualities such as free will, speech, conscious thought, etc. An example of this outcome would something like Seithreen of the group Hybreed. What if the seal is tattooed more than once on a single person? This would have no affect on the bearer in any way. It would, however, cause the seal to be easily seen and identified.

A transference seal's purpose is to transfer things such as strength, knowledge, messages, items, etc. This is a very simplistic concept and purpose, but it can be changed into a more complicated version as with what the Elder's did. The transference seals of the Elder's store the power of the wearer, regardless of the amount. After the death of the wearer, it transfers the collected power into the next single bearer of the seal. The seal can collect a vast amount of energy this way, thus turning a simple child into a mere god that can level a city with something such as a temper-tantrum. Although this is it's potential, it's not, however, what's allowed. In concern for the well being of the Mystical Realm, the first set of Elders capped the limit at every three sets. This means that the seals reset to nothing at the start of every forth set of Elder's. Because this massive amount of energy must go somewhere, it disperses into the atmosphere. From here it's absorbed by the plant life and trees, causing the realm to bloom with beauty and life. This is believed to be the Holy Lord's promise of there forever being life within the realm. The power dissipates, but the seal lingers and scars over. This is when the seal begins slowing the decaying process by half of it's normal speed. Once the decaying process is finished, after about four times the original amount of time, the seal preserves the skeleton. The reason for this is currently unknown.

The removal of a seal prematurely(removing it before it can receive the power) can result in the seal becoming valueless. This seal(after removal) would be the equal of it on a rock. The removal of a mature seal(one that has received power), would be a waste of time and only scar the spot where it was once located. In all reality, the power absorbed by the seal is bound to the hosts soul. The seal has been referred to as a symbiotic organism, a creature that needs a host for it to continue. Without one, it would die in a matter of moments.

Once the next set of Elder's comes to order, they are immediately suppose to begin observation for their individual successors. During the selection process, the Elder's try to choose a candidate that best resembles them. This is mainly in the sense of personality, but can be things like appearance or race in addition to personality. When a successor is chosen, they are informed of who they'll replace and are then given their respected seal. Any being can be chosen, although most have previously been Gods, their have been other races such as Human or Elf. When the Elder's believe their successors are ready, they begin training them. This training will teach them everything they will need to know. When the training is done, they will return to whatever they were doing previously. From here on after, they are monitored for proof that they're doing what their suppose to.

For the sake of symbolism, I think 24 Elder Gods would work better since there have definitely been more than 9 Elder Gods at one point of time. Revelations 11:16 has the line "And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshipped God, saying...". I think this symbolism would be excellent for MC. And knowing how you'll most likely question why I'm referencing to the Bible (again), it's because symbolism always make literature better; the bible just so happens to be a source of literature that the most people are familiar with.
So this is my proposal: their are 24 Elder Gods at a time. Like previously mentioned, the Seal inside the Elder Gods can only be transferred after the Elder God's death. However, I think that it should be that the other Elder Gods have the power in whom the Seal is transferred to, like how Andi's Seal was given to Danziel, making Danziel (the angel from "Noah's Past: Legacy of Egrigori") an Elder God (who met his demise in "Fall of Dvine Reign"). Thus, as long as an Elder God remains alive, the rest of the 24 can be restored; if such case comes in which all are dead (has not happened yet; even though a majority of them died during the Ragnarok Tragedy, since Elder God Luke is alive and Draethius' prisoner, the 24 can be restored), the Seal of the Seventh Trumpet (again, a reference to Revelations 11) will disolve and return to it's original shape: that of a Veaumori in which can only be used by a god, angel, or Kim-un-Kur to restore the Elder Gods in how they see fit.
Here's a list of the 24 Seals that I've found so far (as for the numbering, that's unimportant):
1. Luke
2. Darmadia
3. Mystia
4. Izen; Cardovia
5. Rotaru
6. Hallelujah
7. Alleluia
8. Amen
9. Eon
10. Eleison
11. Kami
12. Roelina (founded 'Thorns')
13. Andi; Danziel
14. L'rac'magi (nicknamed "God of Prophecy"; sheep, supposively Larac was named after this guy, lol)
15. L'rae'de (went rogue and started the religion Nirvanism)
16. Yardas
17. Bloodpool
18. Isosoplis
19.
20.
21.
22.
23.

it has always been nine elders. at varius times, this # changes downwards. this single change, is gonna change ALOT of other things. Im partial to nine because it was my idea. The number is also based on the D&D alignment grid. This is one hell of a change. But we dont really need everything to symbolise something do we? Plus, its more organised with nine at a time, then 25 each doing their own thing. Also, the point of the seals would not be needed then. Another thing is that they would continue grow in power until they would be so powerful that they would pass up even the Holy lord given enough time. I made the seals for the sake of balence. taking away the seals would mean that if they wanted to, they could kill off every other race. this might also change many events. what is OAE?

Fine, let me put it this way. When The Great God War began, there were currently 19 Elder Gods: Luke, Darmadia, Mystia, Izen, Rotaru, Hallelujah, Eon, Alleluia, Amen, Eleison, Kami, Rosalina, Danziel, L'rac'magi, L'rae'de, Yardas, Bloodpool, Isosoplis, and Ppelono

Unlikely they can reach the Holy Lord's level, especially considering what me and sirb have planned. as for OAE, im thinking of making a timeline taht has years in it. OAE stands for Old Age Era while NAE stands for New Age Era (got the naming idea from the title "Dawn of a New Age"). The year 0 NAE is the year of the Council's founding.

We was already thinking of thinking of a time line. I started one but stopped due to everything not fitting together. But see, the Elders if their were 19 of them during the Great god war, then why didn't some of them try to stop them/ Also, if there were that many, then sure enough, their would have been more then three Elders for the extermination of the Hybrids. With this said, then the war would have ended differently. Meaning that there wouldn't be many Hybrids now. And with the Elders coming back after their killed, then whats gonna stop them from continuing the Hybrid purge? You changing this will affect a lot of the history in the MC. With 25 Elders, their is no way that Sirb, Tenkai(especially without his 'others'), Val and his brother live with so few scratches. This is like alternative history line or something. I am sorry but i am against it. As said before, This would make seal irrelevant, making balance impossible, it's like the Holy wanted everyone lower then angels to be screwed. The Holy lord was for equality right? Because this make the opposite true. I am sorry for being against it but, i will continue regardless since i've come this far and it would be stupid to stop and leave now. This is only because it is Sirb's choice to make.Even though, I would of liked to of been included in the discussion of these things since, me you, sirb, deth, and black are like the main players. So it would nice to get a heads up if something's gonna change.BTW, you can edit what's inside the quote field. Also, yes, if given enough time to increase their power then they could overpower the Holy Lord, the only thing they need is power since number would no longer be a problem. I strongly believe that this would mess up a lot of things, and make it so we would have to change a shit load just to keep it accurate. Could we make it where something goes wrong with the next selection and that's when they all come back? Because of an accident? Make it where they all come back now instead of them being their always?

Unity Empire

"The Unity Empire was probably one of the greatest things to befall on the Mystic Realm. It had peace and prosperity. But like always, corruption led to its decay."
~ Entry in Dmitri Valenti's Anatomy of Evil: Hearts of Darkness

The Unity Empire was an alliance that controlled the entire Mystic Realm from 5321 OAE to 5204 OAE. It was an alliance made of twelve races whom kept inter-species peace and led with justice instead of corruption. It was formed by Kim-un-Kur St. Salvado* Thoma (vampire/elf). Emperor Salvado controlled the Unity Empire with the twelve Clockwise Earls. Each Clockwise Earl controlled a district containing a specific species that was the same as their own. Here is the following:
-Earl of Gottheit (god) ruled the Moja District
-Earl of Hybride (hybrid) ruled the Two District
-Earl of Mensch (human) ruled the Drei District
-Earl of Elementar (elementalist) ruled the Fire District
-Earl of Dämon (demon) ruled the Tiga District
-Earl of Fuchs-Geist (fox spirit) ruled the Sei District
-Earl of Engel (angel) ruled the Sept District
-Earl of Werwolf (lycan) ruled the Oito District
-Earl of Blutschößling (vampire) ruled the Nio District
-Earl of Drache (dragon) ruled the Diez District
-Earl of Elfen (elf) ruled the Elf District
-Earl of Todesgott (shinigami) ruled the Juuni District
(I'll put names later)
When Emperor Salvado was assassinated in 5205 OAE, the Unity Empire turned on itself and within the year, crumbled to destruction. While the empire itself is gone, the descendants of the Clockwise Earls still hold their titles.
