Back in a time long ago when I was about 12 maybe, boba shops were plentiful and those who had the most loyal following floated to the top, but sadly about a year ago a little company called quickly(hmmm.... maybe so) came along and gave an anal raping to the item i pour my love and affection into as if it were a lover or something. For those of you that have never had a boba drink, think of it as a smoothie or any other non carbonated beverage throw in some black little chewy balls that have a taste similar to vanilla(at least i think so) and maybe throw in some jelly if your really adventurous; what you end up with is a beverage that contains no caffeine, somewhat modest sugar amount, and for those simple minded buffoons the tedious yet rewarding task of gnawing on little black spheres. Of course getting back to the topic some cunts thought it would be a great idea to replicate what Rockefeller did with the oil companies in a boba market by driving their prices down to run my dealer out of the area, followed by mild price spikes, needless to say this has been hell on the whole industry and consumers since the only other place i can get boba(other than quickly) is at my 5th favorite place Sweet Delite( and with spelling like that you know you'll be getting good boba). As I have been to a Quickly's before, the only thing I have found redeeming is their iced coffee boba, everything else can be replaced by water or cool-aid and you probably won't know the difference. An enigma if you will since there are many in my city who prefer to pay more for hindered quality, atrocious service, and a redundant consistency compared to an old fashioned home brewed batch of boba; course as long as there is still one left i should be happy.
For those of you who don't get the sf chronicle(which is many) one of our city supervisors took money bribe to help the horror shop.
