Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai was great.
I loved it.

Hayate no Gotoku, because it was stupid, yet funny.

D.Gray-man. I love cosplaying as Allen Walker. =D

yes Hayate no Gotoku, D. Gray Man,

Evangelion is in a totally different set of genre from Naruto.....and Evangelion is totally not as commercialized as Naruto....maybe they'll commercialize it in the rebuilt series....but i think Naruto is too far away from Evangelion's level.....you'll be amazed if you try wiki-ing or google-ing on Evangelion facts...

anyone can but a bunch of shit about the bible in an anime...i also read the guy who made it was going through depression. its a good show but not great

Evangelion is truly a masterpiece - the art, the music, the concept and how it influenced the design of the appearance of mechas and monsters nowsaday *nods*

Beside that, Monster - I likes the suspense and concept. Its so unique among so many anime.

And yeeeah~ Doraemon for obvious reason. Its still so famous, so loveable, so effective, so successful today =D

I agree with cowboy bebop.. especially the soundtrack. :D

I consider Honey and Clover one of the comedy romance anime masterpieces (for a series). Great music and art direction, and how the plot was laid out. It was truly touching. It's pretty much one of the animes I could consider close to a masterpiece...

I also loved 5 cm per second movie. Really great animation.

As for humor, Azumanga Daioh was truly a master piece. Each episode made me laugh, especially Osaka with her random commentary, I doubt she even knew what she was talking about. Kage kara mamoru was also pretty funny, the heroine was a big airhead with no brain capacity whatsoever, but thats just the funny part were talking about here. Also, the one and only, school rumble! Wow, its amazing how much this anime made me laugh. A guy trying to make a girl fall in love with him, you know, the usual stuff. Only this one is with a huge twist, action, romantic and hilarious situations that keeps you begging for more. I just love Harima Kenji! [rofl at the harry mckenzie part] I hope the 3rd season will come out soon.

Masterpieces:

Gankutsuou
Paranoia Agent
Samurai Champloo

As far as I'm concerned, these are the only masterpieces. They are each perfect in their own way.
