Like I knew about Ichigo's hollow form before it even came out, so for that scene I didn't go "that's way cool!" the way I knew I would if my friends hadn't spoilt it for me. And the Aizen fiasco when Ichigo was saving Rukia was smart. Imagine if someone just told you what's happening.. Anime becomes boring with spoilers.

It detracts from the value of the first view/read. Doesn't make it unenjoyable, but it takes away the element of ... suprise I guess.

If the story looks like it's heading in the way the spoiler told you it would, even without being told, you'd know what's coming, somewhat. If the story isn't heading in that direction, then it's still a surprise, 'cause you'd think the spoiler was lying, but whoa, it's true! People who try to "spoil" things for other people are pretty much douchebags. They'll admit it too. But there isn't much you can do about it on the internet, so if you really care about spoilers, stay off the web, and save someone your cries of outrage.

It has the opposite effect on me. Take all the HP spoilers, for example. After reading them, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the book. :D, I totally agree with you! :3
