mmmmmmmmmmmmmm from the many slice of life type shows i've seen. I'd say maybe ikouku, chihayafuru, hanasaku iroha, usagi drop, iM@S, and amagami ss. can't really think of any others off the top of my head.

Peacemaker Kurogane is pwetty realistic since the characters and the plot itself are based on real people and facts of the 19th century before the Meiji era.
Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto was also kind of realistic for the same reason. Weell, not as much as PMK when it comes to the plot since it depicts some stuff that are kinda off buut yep.
House of five leaves' both plots and characters are realistic.
Hmm, Nana I guess. Music, romance, drama >;D Seemed pretty realistic to me.
Hmm that's all I can think of right now ~

I still have my hopes that the world won't always be this boring.

Maybe repetitive is a better word. Let's hope at least our chemistry gets as good as alchemy in myths.
