He said that that's the recommended size for minimal speedo error. It's not for the evo, rather it's for a Mercedes-Benz 2007 CLK 550. I don't know that I'm asking.

I don't like the urban/black look at all. I actually hate it, but it's their car.

Right now I have:

215/40/17 F
235/40/17 R

Sadly, I have a 7 inch room, so the Rear tire engulfs of the rim xD! I got the tires for a good deal, couldn't resist - I'll be getting new rims soon. I haven't decided but preferabably 30- offset >_>;

I've talked to my guy and am getting 235/40/18 F and 265/35/18 R with my fender rolled soon. I can't wait. ^_^

I fail to see how an 18 year old can have a CLK550, but that's besides the point.

If you have the correct offsets, then the figures Tire Rack has given you are correct. In fact, they know it all and even help out in the BMW forums, so you know they know what they're talking about.

As for the tire brand, I've heard nothing but good reviews of the Falken FK-452. After all, Falken marketed the tire towards the VIP niche, and with 19's on a CLK, you're definitely in that niche.

You will definitely want to get your fenders rolled, because tire rub isn't a matter of "if," but rather "when." If you have the money for the car and HRE's, then you have the money for fender rolling. Hell, if you really have the car and are getting HRE's, there's no way in hell they wouldn't tell you what size tires to get.

Something doesn't seem right here...

Lol, you're not the first to say that. I never said I bought it, and I don't need to prove to you that but might as well. Yet, you still might say, "Oh, you're just taking pics of your daddy's car." Even if you don't believe me with those pics, I don't know what else I can do beside saying that I'm sorry that I'm more fortunate than you. Don't take the words on the papers personally since it's a joke.

Anyways, it's supposed to come this week or next week. I'm not doing 19's but 18's. Fender rolling will only cost me $80ish, so that wouldn't be an issue. However, I talked to many clk owners who are using 235/40/18 F and 265/35/18 R, which is what my salesman and TR advised, told me that I wouldn't need it if I drive it casually.

im a big fan of yokohama myself... some call it cheap.
I call it reliable.

i have a 215/45 r17 and they grip fairly well.

i tried the falken's... and they're ok too.

+1 I like their grip, though im not suggesting them for this particular car, just giving my input.
I recommended some FK-452 to subiedubidoo
