i think its a good move, its a little jumbled in there though
maybe only have 3 topics at a time in the main page, u got news, sept badge contest, another contest, fansub thing, onigiri
yea im not reading all that stuff, gets a little messy
for the latest animes, technically CR is actually pretty slow on the latest anime, but maybe the main page of each Anime,Drama,etc links up top have a new page of recent things instead of just showing a dull anime index

I don't think the new change is too bad; however I do think you should cut the amount of lines it shows from the first posts of the Crunchy News.
For example, showing 10 lines of each first post is good
and later following that with a link that says (Click here to read more.)
Also, 3 simple links such as
-Recently Added Anime
-Recently Added Drama
-Recently Added Game Vids
would be helpful since a lot of people on this site (including me) check the latest adds frequently.
