Importance of sleep.

It seems that we overlook sleep way too much, including myself.
For the last 5 months i've went to sleep at 10:30 every night instead of staying up late, and i started to get better at things. I made progress much faster.
to what degree do you think that lack of sleep inhibs skill and learning ability.

It is proven that it does gimp your learning ability, but sometimes you have to stay up. For things like:

- Studying
- Homework
- Family problems
- Stress

It sucks, but sometimes you can't do anything about it.

I sleep around 1am -3am, and wake at 6 am every day... 3-5 hours should be enough, too much sleep is also bad.

Well lucky you,
sleep is very important.
It depends on the person really bc some people do better with less hours of sleep.
I wish I could sleep more, I have dark circles under my eyes.

usually i go to bed at 2:00 or earlier but i like to go to bed at 10:30 or 11:00 cuz then i wont be tired when i get up in the morning

Its been scientifically proven that if you don't sleep enough, your brain works harder and gets less accomplished
so i don't think 3 hours is enough. When you sleep is when you retain alot of information in relation to new skills and knowledge.

sleep is good. and healthy...need alot of it to be energized. and not sitting in front of the computer all day... *points to a certain someone* grrr

yeah my mom kept telling me to go to sleep early cause my face was very pale.
so sleeping late can make you pale

humans need sleep. thats all to it. u can literally go insane if u dnt get enough. i remember that there was this on radio host who wanted to break the record of staying on the air the most days without sleep. he stayed on the air for 6 days straight without sleep staying up on coffee and caffeine drinks. by the six day he was saying crazy stuff on the air. but after the whole thing he wasnt the same person. he get divorced from his wife, lost his job and in the end killed himself. Your body can can take staying up for six days but your brain can't. it needs rest. so dnt do that. i think people are considered insane after 3 three days of no sleep
