Just go buy World of Warcraft like everyone else so this topic can end.

*opinions in parenthesis

Pros:
1.) Easy to pick up.
2.) Wonderful community (I recommend an RP server for beginners so you don't have to get ganked by a lvl 70 in enemy territory :-P).
3.) Graphics are excellent.
4.) Scenery is Beautiful.
5.) Leveling up is as easy as one, two, three.
6.) You usually only get lag in Crowded parts of cities and in PvP Battlegrounds.
7.) Several different ways to make your character look unique.
8.) Hundreds of thousands of quests to keep you hooked.
9.) Over fifty types of dungeons.
10.) Nine different types of classes to choose from.
11.) Fully customizable talent trees with various skills and abilities.

Cons:
1.) Many people view $15.00 monthly as high price (Even I did when I started, but honestly it Isn't that much to pay for what you get out of this game).
2.) Some people consider it to be addictive (And yet so is everything else in the world that gives the mind a sense of joy).
(I truly cannot think of any other reasons why to not like this game, unless your a noob who started on a PvP server and was instantly ganked. Other than that, WoW is currently the best MMORPG in the world with over 10 million subscribers).

Lol. I thinking starting out in a PvP servre was the best choice I made. Yeah, leveling is slower, but it's so much more fun. Seriously, you learn waaaay more in a PvP server than you would in a PvE or an RP server. I honestly would not learn survival techniques against Rogues if it weren't for getting ganked so many damn times.

Free games just get boring for some reason. If you're paying for a game, I think you have more incentive to play, and get more out of it.

RF online is pretty good and free.

the problem with free games is that they get pretty generic, you could perhaps try out Trickster or Flyff thou, you only pay for ingame items if you "want", ok games, but also, they are pretty "generic"

id recommend WoW, but it`s like recommending Super Mario or Final Fantasy to someone that has played games for years, it`s like, WoW? i have "never" heard of it <.<

is PSO free now? Blue Burst for PC? hmm, maybe i should give it a spin again... im fine with PSU, at least now that Rappys are back in chapter 2, but PSO is kinda nostalgic
