anyways, let's just hope that they won't go bankrupt by licensing every work they got... without fansubs i doubt that those puny guys in those companies can make their animes famous anymore. they should have known that animes became more famous when fansubs was introduced to the world. during my time when fansubs are not that rampant in the net, animes are not that popular and now... hah, they'll be the ones that would be harmed of their doing in the end by the ways... let's just laugh watching them ruining themselves hahahahahaha! its good to be sadistic sometimes you know?

Some fansubs don't really think that much about licensing. Even after True tears and Persona was licensed they still continued to sub them. So licensing them before they're even released won't really do the license holders any good.

I can only name a few good sites. SO i guess the best solution would be by torrents.

its marketing strategy... because file sharing is a big threat to anime industry that's why they decided to ban it. if they would allow file sharing then they could expect less buyers of anime in their market since such materials are already available for viewing free via internet. plus, animes in japan are kinda expensive(even in our place). people would go for the cheaper alternative as much as possible. if you'd ask me, file sharing is not really doing that good in their business actually. but still i think its not that bad, its more fair to their side i think if you would ask me. animes are produced in japan and japanese would have an easy access to them comparing to us not living in japan. banning ISPs would not really do bad since to them they can still buy animes from their local market. its a bit unfair to us however since internet sharing is the cheapest way for us to access animes.

Its still a worst case scenario for some people who don't even have a place to buy dvds. As for me, I don't go buy newly released animes because they're new, I buy anime series that are worth it. Practically speaking, some people ( like me for instance.) would want to watch the anime w/o paying first just to see if its something good, thats why free fansubs would be the best way to find out. But if free fansubs are banned I think it would be much a disadvantage for people who buy the dvd w/o knowing its quality. Simply saying, wouldnt anyone feel like they were tricked on buying stuffs that wouldnt be worth it. Thats what I think.

Looks like there are a lot of animes being licensed... It's like some sort of conspiracy against those who watch animes online...
