Yeah. If people don't like it, they should just not listen to it.

I don't mind censoring, but only if it is censored before it is put on the air with the original lyrics.

If it's censored afterwards, it hasn't or won't stop people who know the original lyrics from saying them in place of the bleeps/cut outs/etc.

After it's aired with the original lyrics, censoring the song seems a pointless waste of time. c:

i dont really care,
but sometimes i cant sing certain songs outloud because of the cussing -____-

BUUUT THEN AGAIN, i dont really care as long as i like the song.

Whether they should be allowed or not that doesn't matter. It's up to you whether you want to listen to it or not. Like what you said the singer couldn't sing. Don't listen to it. I personally don't like hearing those type of words around me. I ask them to switch to a different song or turn it off. If that doesn't work I simply walk away.

allowed?.....seriously?
You would rather see a musicians right of expression taken away rather than just not listening to the song? I think that would be a mighty selfish thing to do.

So yeah, cuss all you want I say! I might not like it sometimes, as I too think that once in a while it just seems redundant and over used in a lack of creativity. But then I just wouldn't listen to it. Simple as that. There are things like edited versions of albums you can buy if you like the song but not the vulgarity.

Otherwise why not start telling thriller/horror/slasher films they aren't allowed to show blood passed a certain level. This could go on and on in all mediums of entertainment and art. Thats why there are things like edited versions, ratings, warnings, and filters.

sure. free speech man. besides, we can all choose whether we want to listen to a song with cuss words or whether we will pass on it.
