can't really say it means anything until you "force" your names into the kanji forms. It's your name... so you can choose whatever kanji you want to go with your name as long as the kanji reflects on the verbal sounds.

I like finding out what the different names mean. Unfortunately the meaning can be different depending one whether the name is written in Kanji or Katakana , which is frustrating.
The name that I like the sound of best is Nobue. But I don't like what it means very much. I think it translates to one who suffers.
