Escort missions. Not all of them are bad, but some people somehow feel the irresistible urge to throw themselves in to imminent death. =.=;
For games with free-range settings like Legend of Zelda or FFXIII's world of Pulse...please don't make us travel for five solid minutes real-time to get from objective to objective. D: Being able to move around freely is a beautiful thing, but...don't...pad your games with too much of it.

1. When pokemon won't get in the stupid pokeball
2. When Me and the current boss need only one more hit to die and I lose.

I hate when you fight the bad guy and they have a longer life bar than you
It always happens in naruto ultimate ninja storm..
Especially when backround monsters atacck you out of the blue
and almost kill you before you get to the boss of the game

When you need to keep alive a suicidal guest character. FFFFF, Tactics Ogre why you have suicidal guest characters?!
It really sucks in Tactics Ogre, considering a single battle can take a half hour or more.
