Outside of the main elemental list, there's Black Magic, Divine Magic, Shamanic Magic,
White Magic, and the Greater spells
Black magic or dark magic is a alleged type of magic that draws on malevolent powers. It may used for malevolent acts or to deliberately cause harm in some way. It is alternatively spelt with a 'K' (magick), this term is also known as black magick, dark magick, the dark arts of magick and dark side magick.
In modern times, people who believe in or claim to practice magic use the term to describe the harmful magic that they consider taboo, as opposed to the good white magic that they do profess to practice.
Black magic would be invoked to kill, injure, or cause destruction, or for personal gain without regard to harmful consequences to others. As a term, "black magic" is normally used to describe a form of ritual that some group or person does not approve of. Not everything that is called black magic truly has malevolent intentions behind it, and some also consider it to have beneficial and benevolent uses, such as killing off diseases or pests.
White magic is the opposite of Black magic. It's purpose is to heal, or create. Ever since the creation, or the finding of 'magic,'
people have labeled black magic as a 'sin,' or a bad deed. White magic however, is known to undo those bad things in the world, and fix things so that they are right again. However, black magick was believed to have created before white magic, which was created to null the effects of the black.
Also known as theurgy, this magic was created to appease the gods. It's composed of rituals, sacrifices, and the such.
If such a practice succeeds, then the spellcaster gains a minor amount of that god's power.
Shamanism. This belief relates to the souls of the dead, it uses magic to communicate to the spirit world.
-The spirits can play important roles in human lives.
-The shaman can control and/or cooperate with the spirits for the community's benefit.
-The spirits can be either good or bad.
-Shamans engage various processes and techniques to incite trance; such as: singing, dancing, taking entheogens, meditating -and drumming.
-Animals play an important role, acting as omens and message-bearers, as well as representations of animal spirit guides.
-The shaman's spirit leaves the body and enters into the supernatural world during certain tasks.
-The shamans can treat illnesses or sickness.
-Shamans are healers, gurus and magicians.
So, shamanism is mostly related to white magic, despite what they are doing.
Greater magic requires one's utmost concentration. It makes you focus deeply on your target, what it does exactly, is unexplained. It's the only type of magic that's origin is mostly unknown. All that is known about it, is that it's power changes depending on the wielder.
Earth Magic Spells:
-Rock:Can create solid metals. Creating gems with it is forbidden, but it is possible.
-Tree/Sprout: Gives ultimate power of nature. Lasts for uknown amount of time, can create life.
Altuogh in some cases, this can count as white magic, in some places it's against the law,
so be careful where you use it.
-Summon Creature of Earth: Creates a creature from mud, rock, leaves, or anything natural.
Air Magic Spells:
-Feather Weight: By bending gravity, or using wind, you can support yourself, or another.
Really helps if you're falling from a high place!
-Gust: Creates a sudden burst of wind, power varies. Top Weight pushed: 793 lbs.
-Imaginary Friend: Used to confuse the opponent, by using the wind and gravity to create
fake footprints. Obviously, though- it can't be used in water, or above ground.
-Summon Creature of Air: Creates the form of an animal, but is somewhat difficult to see.
Fire Magic Spells:
-Fire ball: Sends a fire ball towards the opponent. Size and speed depends on the caster.
-Meteor Strike: Hurls meteors at the opponent. Size tends to be about the size of casters fists, speed varies.
-Flare:Sets fire around the opponent. Lasts for about 2 minute, or more. Completely circles them.
-Flash: Bright light emanates from palm or fingertips. Normally used for non-voilent purposes, but can blind.
-Summon Fire/lava Creature:Creates creature from fire or lava.
Water Magic Spells:
-Splash:Controls water at long distance.
-Mist:Clouds a large area with fog.
-Conjure Water:Creates water without a source of it.
-Holy Water:Used against undead, or the wicked, only the highly skilled- or those trained for it specifically can perform this spell.
-Summon Water/Ice/Mist Creature: Doesn't technically 'summon,' but 'creates' a creature from water.
Void Magic Spells:
-Telepathy: Can communicate with another in thoughts. When a familiar is sumoned, telepathy is already established between the two.
Additional Earth Mahou:
-Earth Fang: Create a giant rock spike to pierce the enemy
-6 Feet Under: Bury thy Enemy!
-Earth Sense: Detect anything on earth in 5 hectares.
-Earth Seep: Transfer impurities into the Earth
-Voice of the World: Communicate with the earth (Useful, can ask for directions, know the problems of the forest,etc)
