What's the most painful thing that has ever happened to you?

It was during the summer, and my neighbors all had a sleepover at my house. I asked my father to bring home a fan so we could cool off. Since it was so hot, I turned it to full power, and in attempt to turn it off, the cover/lid fell off because the screws were loose. Luckily, only my left index finger was hit, and I didn't lose any arms.

What's really weird is that I didn't notice any pain or blood. I guess it just kinda went numb.

Hmm one I can remember vividly was having my hand squished by a door by my sister :(. It wasnt like my hand got slammed once, it was continuous, my sister must've thought the door was stuck or something and kept trying to close it. It was weird because the pain didnt come instantly so I was standing there for a good 5 seconds until I could register why my hand was feeling so oddly. Then I screamed like a baby and put ice on it it killed!

When I had an inflammation in my appendix for 7 days before I went to the hospital, though it was stomach sickness or something. It hurt like nothing else 24/7

Couldn't eat or drink much. Was so dehydrated that it was tragic. And the first thing I did when I got to the 'doctor watch' or whatever it could be called in English, was to go to the toilet and throw up.

When they understood what was wrong, I got plugged with IV, so I had water coming directly into me for 2 days straight I think, mixed with pain killers.

Took me ages to be able to eat normally again, and I spent quite some time managing to walk normally >_<

While I was there, they had to change the IV needle in me a lot, and one time they had to try 5 times before it went properly in, and I hate needles ~ they hurt like hell >_<

Thought I was finally good again, went home, got sick and threw up. Right back to the hospital for another week...

It depends on if the "painful" you're talking about is physically or mentally hurting you...

Physically: In PE class, we were learning about self-defense and we were practicing attacking each other. This girl actually punched me in the stomach. It was painful.
Mentally: Failing my physics test. I studied so hard for it and got 20%.

We got something called 'Legevakta' that is near the hospital, where you head to when you need medical assistance. And if it's serious you're transferred to the hospital.
