ken is a beast!! ryu has power but ken has got those quick linking combos. and he's got the super hurricane kick and the shouryuken. Cant touch him!!

It would be a tie cause in the past if u watch the cartoon and followed the story u would notice they were aways even. But if i had to pic a fav it would be Ryu hands down.

ken is stronger cuz hes the cool guy... takes things lightly carefree but has a great power in him....
he can surely beat ryu....

Im gonna have to go with Ken on this one. Why? because gamewise, more or less people would choose Ryu and over use Hadoken, while with Ken, only people with real skills choose him because his Hadoken isnt as strong as Ryu. IMO though.

I'm a bit biased, but Ryu would pwn Ken. Even though in the games, they give Ken a bit more combo ability and a stronger Shoryuken. Ryu is seriously my favorite video game character, even above OoT Link.

Ken is strong, but his overconfidence is his downfall. Ryu, while mostly serious, has immense dormant powers sleeping within him(stronger than Ken's), and is a masterful practitioner of his art. Ryu pwns Ken.

False. While Ken does have superior combo ability and a stronger Shoryuken, Ken's Tatsumaki Shinnpu Kyaku(Hurricane Kick) is weaker, but scores more hits and has to be comboed into to be effective. Ryu CAN touch him.
