Because it seems alpha was before regular street fighter.... anyone want to clarify the timeline? Many thanks.

The older Ryu has overcome his dark side (thankfully as I still think that was a huge bunch of BS lol) and in Capcom's official Canon Ryu is stronger then Ken.
