Respect is a good thing most of the time. Its bad if the people you give it to take advantage of it and eventually you become a total kiss ass or suckup. Learn to respect yourself too then i guess  |

No respect is not a bad thing. To get respect you need to earn it. That pretty much applies to everyone. If I want someones respect I will earn it and not think its due to me.

It depends on why the person respects this looked-up to person.. They could respect them for the wrong reasons like crime, fear etc..
