Do you feel more comfortable talking to your parents about your life or your friends?

Haha, no I don't feel comfortable with either, the few times I've tried ends in one of these happening. I get yelled at for being stupid, no help is given. I get a long story about how life is whatever, get told to deal with it, no help. They take the request for help the wrong way and think I'm in dire straights and my life is on the line, my stress is ramped up to 11, I get no help.

I share it with my friends. My parents..itd just be awkward. And itd leave to a whole discusison. They dont know how to just shut up and listen

Depends what it is...I tend to tell my mother everything and my father not so much, this is the guy who made fun of me when I was clinally depressed as a teen so yeah not him.

I never tell one friend everything, each one is like a different type of confessional. My secrets, my shames, they all get divied up amongst my besties.

my parents.. i can tell my mom almost everything and she'll be there to give me advice. Even if its something which she forbids (having a bf). hehehe

This made me . It reminds me of insensitive dads that say dumb things. ROFL.

...I wouldn't know how that feels because I never seen my dad. I can only imagine it being funny. Clueless dad having the time of his life at your expense. Ahh. I can only fantasise how cool or funny dad's are. I can't experience that humour or good times.
