I haven't really seen much racism, like Mase666 said, it's mostly people joking about and not being serious. Also, I have many friends who are of pretty much every colour and I don't think anyone's picked on them or been seriously racist. Well, there was one guy who called black people graybacks but I think he learnt his lesson.

there are alot of ppl from poland n ppl r like go bac 2 ur own country

I know a lot of builders, joiners, plumbers etc. aren't too happy with all the polish people who came. A lot of them have been put out of work because employers want to pay less and are afraid they may look racist.
To be honest, it doesn't really bother me and I have a friend who is like 3/4 polish and I've been with him to the polish club and met most of the people there.

And can you edit the name of the poll. It's worded trickily and makes it sound like you're talking about the whole population of Britain.

im not asian, im black, from sweden. but luckily my highschool i went in britain had so many different nationalites, 2 different languages were being spoken in that school, so it was not much racism going on there.
when i was in sweden, i was the only black, but the racism/skinheads had died out after 2000 so it was ok for me. plus another black guy who was my senior, was famous throughout the school so everyone respected him. and because they thought i was his brother they did not bother me.

Yup it's judging someone without knowing them because of their colour. People shouldn't judge on stereotypes and the perception of other people.

I get racist comment sometimes because I have pale skin and ginger hair.
I'm part welsh, Irish and living in England.

I get nasty comments on my skin colour (apparently paler than normal isn't considered normal..) and my hair colour gets commented and I've had people shouting at me telling me to go live in Ireland or Wales?!

England is a mixed country and you get people who are ignorant and don't care about truth, fact or morals. Its kinda sad really.

If you get people discriminating against you, just tell them that you'll go home when they grow a tallywacker. Then laugh at them.

I'm chinese, born and raised in England. So here's my story...
I was waiting for my friends in town and like 5 guys shouted "Chink, go back to your own country!" Swearing and that.
I replied "I am you idiot! I was born here!" Although they were the ones looking stupid, they refused to back off and i think i pissed them off by calling them idiots. So i got scared, as you would, and backed away. Luckily, all my friends appeared and because we had planned to go to the beach together, there were like 30 friends around me. Now that got them scared! They ran off after, lol haha!
Stuff like racism always happens but i live in like a nicer place, well, compared to like london, so i don't get THAT many racist comments.
