Everybody ALL kamen Rider had been licensed

Adness, the founder of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight (american Kamen Rider) has licensed the American version of Kamen Rider but not the japanese. we realize that TV-Nihon and other fansuber is still continuing Kamen Rider subbing for everyone. Please do unblock the Kamen Rider series (Kamen Rider to Kamen Rider Kiva) and allow us to upload Kamen Rider videos. Lots of people are really angry and depressed about your sudden action. Please, we beg you.

dear moderator, please look at wiki for the best information whether it has been licensed or not. if u do look properly in wiki there is no mentioning of any licensing of Kamen Rider by Adness and the only thing that licensing has been mentioning to the closer on licensing is that it has been adapted by Adness Entertainment for Kamen Rider Ryuki.

adapted dont equal to licensed, so in this case, please do unblock it or else, please give US the users of crunchyroll that u guys dun anyhow went to "LICENSED" animes or dramas that aint licensed. we hope to have a good reply from u guys and not by locking up the thread.

Thanks.

Yes, many people have looked into it and though none of them were apparently thoughtful enough to point it out in a forum, have in fact found proof that it has not been licensed at all as stated above. Please give it back to us? I don't like having to search all through veoh and other sites for it. I prefer crunchyroll, please don't needlessly send crunchyroll fans to other sites.

Thanks.

At least some of u had brains and actually tried to post ur concerns on the forum instead of spamming the hell out of the Kamen Rider Kiva GB. You'll get ur attention.........moderators always check forums more than Guestbooks of certain series

Kiva is NOT LICENSED YET. It is too early to be licensed. It is still being aired in Japan yet and is not yet finished.

Usually, Tokusatsu shows like the Kamen Rider Series are being licensed when DVDs w/ Language Subtitles of the series are being released into other countries.

Ryuki was licensed because Adness adapted it. BUT ITS JUST RYUKI. I dont know any other series.

Other than Ryuki, All Kamen Rider Series are not adapted/released by Adness Entertainment.

Unless Adness Entertainment decides to Adapt all the other Kamen Rider Series, It still depends if its Licensed or not.

Not content with my answer? Sorry this was just my PoV. But anyone can try and contact Adness Entertainment about this matter.

You can also contact TV-Asahi, if ever you can understand their language.

With all due respect, if moderators are going to lock threads telling people to research licenses and depriving them of the right to answer, they should look into this specific "license" themselves, or they will only look misinformed and trigger-happy.

For the sake of clarity: none of the Kamen Rider series have been licensed. What Adness did was buy some rights of Kamen Rider Ryuuki, to adapt the series with their own cast and crew, only using some of the original mecha footage - exactly like Saban/Disney have been doing with Power Rangers and the sentai series for 16 years. No original Japanese Kamen Rider series is going to air or be distributed on the US, just like no original Japanese sentai does. Power Rangers and this "Kamen Rider Dragon Knight" series that is going to air in the US are in the exact same situation, yet sentai is not considered "licensed" on crunchyroll, while (Japanese) Kamen Rider is? What gives?

KR has not been licensed, guys, it is just being adapted. A simple wikipedia search would have told you this and spared you the trouble.

I Agree with the poster above. Unblock the other Kamen Rider series except Ryuki.

Not even Ryuki should be blocked, it's not licensed either. It's not going to air or be distributed (= come out on DVD) in the US, only some of its mecha footage is going to be inserted within the american footage, like the sentai fights scenes are inserted into Power Rangers.

Think about the situation. Crunchyroll is in the wrong, because Adness only has the rights to create Adaptations to Kamen Rider series not to the actual Japanese versions themselves.

You can relate this to Power Rangers and Super Sentai, Power rangers doesnt stop Super Sentai from being here as we all know.

Its because Kamen Rider is always Kamen Rider whether its In the United States or Japan that Crunchyroll has made an error and called all of them licensed. Since the main deal is all with Crunchyroll. But overall this is not our choice.

For you people citing wikipedia.. what the heck? Do you know what Wikipedia is? It's not viable information, random people post stuff in there without evidence that their information is even true. What I want to know is where Crunchyrolls evidence that the series was licensed came from.. thats what really decides all of it.

^ yes, wikipedia is generally unreliable, but the tokusatsu related articles in particular are actually very well managed by the toku project, and kept free of fanboy beeswax. Just check out the talk pages on the articles.

In any case, further sources:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0937403/
http://www.adnessentertainment.com/Index1.htm

See there: whole new series, western cast, western crew. Not "2002's Kamen Rider Ryuki soon to be released on DVD in the US".

Yes, it's up to the crunchyroll staff what they allow or not, and if KR doesn't come back to CR, whatever, I'm not crying myself to sleep over it. But both those sites come in the first three results of a simple google search, and that was my original point: crunchyroll didn't do any research about this title, someone just overheard "Kamen Rider is licensed" somewhere and banned all the KR series without running even a three-seconds google search on the subject. What I said was that if moderators were gonna close posts that dare question their precious ban without letting people try to reason and show them more and better sourced information about the subject, they should have done their own homework first so they don't just look misinformed and trigger-happy.

I agree, I'm not sweating it cause I download all of them. But Crunchyroll is entirely at fault in this case. Whether they live up their mistake or not. They do mark license titles too easily.
