And I got the attention from someone a little older too! (no offense meant) This is great.

No offense taken. I like to read, and I read almost EVERYTHING! Got a book of my own in the works.....

I personally dont enjoy reading everything- but I love to write so I thought, why not write a book.

I wanted to ask this because I didn't know if it was stupid or not. I thought it was clever but I wasnt sure... It seems that people like the idea And in my opinion, Dr. Seus would make a great religion!!

He probably would be a great source of a religion or cult. But I gotta ask....which book would they have to recite (like the Catholics saying their "Hail Mary's....) when they would pray. I vote for HOP ON POP.

No dude, 1 fish, 2 fish, red fish, blue fish.

Oh, common....Green Eggs and Ham will do it every time.

I'n not quite sure... There are lots of good ones. Probably one that showed up in a movie recently so people who arent quite so familiarized with his work can have a chuckle too...however, there arent many things I could take from those- Gonna have to think about it now that you've said it.

I keep imagining a sermon in my head "And ye verily the cat in his hat..." lol

I'd read it, but I don't know how you would keep it serious with that idea.

Well the whole thing about the possibilities of it can be intriguing, but it might be a bit difficult to follow through with dr.seus if people could still speak and read english. But yea if you can get past that barrier, that would be a very unique book to read about.

Although the commotion of banning religion isn't a new practice many countries have done it in the past also. I think a Chinese king forbid the bhuddist teachings, burning down alot of books pretaining to the bhuddist religion. Hitler condemning the jewish faith. Pope and his crusades against the muslims. The list is long.

Sounds like a thing people desire freedom.

It would be in and out. It really doesnt have much anything to do with the main story other than one character gets brought into the main plot and he follows this. Its basically just for comic relief during the thick parts. Like you'll have prtest to recognize it as a religion.

Like that guy that gets drawn in the main plot will say Dr. Seus quotes that pertain to the situation. Just like in I Am Legend when will smith's talking about Bob Marley. It lightens the story in that way.

What would I call them though...Seusites? Seutians?

Okay, now I'm understanding what you're going for. I say you should call them Doc's Children or something weird. <__<

It wouldnt be seen quite as a world wide religion, some people are portesting so it can be recognized. Their argueing that there can be no negative after effects to this one unlike the other ones before it.

Religion and cultures have been banned a whole bunch of times in the past, that I know- but its usually one culture banning the other, never on a world wide scale. Every religion is outlawed, as well are a host of other things. Tradidtional government is basically abolished as well. Its a completely new system by yours truly.

i would read it becuz i think religion blinds people from seeing the truth. I hope this book will teach people that misunderstanding in religion leads to wars or crusades.

why cant we all love each other *hugs* everyone in this thread
