Love is complicated. Especially if you love a person you can't have. Love is painful. Especially when they break your heart. At times, love is a lie. They promise a happy ever after once you find it, total bullshit. Some people can never find it. Love is a mystery, a terror, and a obsession to many others. Love is an illusion. Love takes many forms, but the rarest one to find is love that last forever. Personally, I haven't had any luck with it, but then again, I'm still young, so who knows when I find it. For instance, the man I loved for two years had been lying to me the whole time and was a lazy jackass, of course I broke things off. The point to this comment is that love is like books, there are different types, different stories, different backgrounds. You can't base love on one category, because not all love is the same.

if you're really in love with someone, it's so hard to be over that person. but you know life must go on. sometimes you will say that you can't live without that person, but you can. You just know how to deal. it may take days, weeks, months or even a year. move on dude! i've been there but hey, i've never been better. (with out him )

Love is still one of the great mysteries of the human existence, is it just some animalistic attraction we attempt to back up with reason? Or is it something more, something that we cannot even begin to grasp?

Meh, who fucking knows. Love is what you make of it.

When teenagers or children claim to be in love, adults dismiss it as "puppy love." How can children or teenagers know what love is/ it's just a phase/ they'll grow out of it...that is what many adults say to young ones who claim to be (or may actually be) in love. But then what about adults? When finding a wife or husband and determining the success of a marriage, many times salary, job stability, and other financial things are factored in. So tell me, is this really love? Would you be happier with so called "puppy love," innocent and free from all the realities of the grown up world? Or does finding that special soul mate mean calculating income per household per year or strategizing how to allocate a couple's resources? Which is the purest form of love, which is the most fleeting? Dunno...

I think there's mainly 3 types of love
Family type love: the love based on how comfortable and kind elder family members are to younger ones, and how kindly the younger family decides to repay the elder ones.
Spouse and friend type love: the love based on shared traits between people and the development from that INTO a family type love
Pet type love: The love between owner and pet, based on dependence on each other.
