uhh...versatile weapons. Meaning things that people do with them that seem out of the ordinary... I should probably change this thread up a little or it'll just seem redundant...

I don't know if I am naive for thinking this. But I think a staff/spear is versatile because if there is a chance it breaks there is still ways in which it can still work. Nahh I dont think that shows much versitility.

How about a tanto blade. As macedonian defined versatility as being able to do things out of the ordinary with it wouldnt that count. In those days they were used to commit Seppukku, if I spelled that right. I mean it can still cut right? use it as a weapon or for suicide. <--now that's versatility

Very good. That would be versatile. Maybe not the most versatile weapon. But no one can really tell what the most versatile would be. I say the knife because it is the most I can think of [See my previous post] but everyone has their own ideas and they are just as good.
And you're spelling is exceptional, you just added an extra K. haha

Yeah I guess it depends. I have no clue to what the most versatile weapon would be. hmm but the knife, from what I believe is efficient. I mean there are many different types and kinds of knives, plus many was to store it, like butterfly knives. I agree with you. Axes can be versatile too. Maybe not the best weapon for the battle field, but just as good. It is because it has strength. I mean your not going to get a nihonto and start chopping down a tree. It might not be as effective. Still not the most versatile. But its something. I love machetes.

I love butterfly knives. I have two balisong that I can flip at the same time.

I guess a knife is versatile as it is a multi-purpose two first and a weapon second. Well a combat knife is what I had in mind. However as you said, there are many types of knives and their purposes differ.
An axe is actually very competent in battle. A machete is versatile too as it can chop away at obstacles.

I'm bringing this thread up for deletion. I'll leave it for a week to see if anyone has any suggestions, if not, I'm either changing it or getting rid or it.

That is actually what he means. There's not really a way, atleast not known to me, to delete a thread. He meant to just close it. If a thread is inactive a certain period of time, it is at the moderator's discretion to either revive it, rework it, or close it. Check the Suggestions Thread back a few pages and you can read all about it. But yes I would agree that deleting a thread would not be the best choice.

hmm talk about "moderators 101". I was unsure about it. so a reacted. I wasnt sure there was a way to delete a thread. I was just saying that if it was deleted then our recorded "forum posts" would go down.
