this is one of the greatest books ever!!!!!!!! (in my opinion)
(this as a deathnote novel) in this booh, Mello is narrating, and it basically just tells the story of th Los Angeles BB murder cases, the case where L needed Naomi Misora's help in catching the criminal behind the "Wara Ningyo Murders" or "the L.A. Serial Locked room Killings" If you've read or watched deathnote, than you'll probably remember that Naomi Misora was Raye Penber's fiance' and stated that she'd worked with L on another case, but only as a voice on a computer, and this goes back in time to show what actually happend on this case. so basically, i just wanna know if anyone's read it and what they think of it. so if you've read it, have any questin's about it, or just wanna state ur opinion, please post here. |

Well I read it about a month ago, it was really good. Its really funny to see all the quirks of L(going by the alias "Ryuzaki"), Naomi, and even the narrator, Mello, who is just really telling this story from 2nd and 3rd person perspective. So yeah I recommend this book for any Death Note fan, especially those who are L-fanatics! Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide By the way, a funny fact about this book is that it was originally titled "Mad About L", but it was changed due to the fact that the story plot became quite serious. |

L is the detective from Death Note. I really enjoyed reading BB and it only took me a day to finish it. The different methods used in the 3 murders were amazing. I really liked how each scene has a hint in there. The clock one was just amazing. The twist at the end... oh my god. I thought that guy was that guy I was thinking of and until the very last scene. The book was also very funny; when L asked Miaomi if that guy is cool. Her answer was so funny: "For all the people who have committed suicide, I don't know why he isn't one of them." The names in the book was really cute: Beyond Birthday, Quarter Queen ect. |
