I have the original; downgraded to 3.30 OE-A (old version). I'd rather get the slim and downgrade it to 3.52 m33. Slimmer, lighter, and the better version for recovery mode.

Downloaded PSP games (.cso, .iso):
Bleach Heat the Soul 4
Call of Duty Road to Victory
DJ Max Portable
Fight Night Round 3
Final Fantasy VII : Crisis Core
Initial D Street Stage
Metal Gear Portable Ops
Mortal Kombat Unchained
Patapon
Socom Fire Team Bravo 2
Twisted Metal Head On
Virtua Tennis 3

Downloaded PS1 Games (GAME folder):
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy IX
Marvel VS. Capcom - Clash of the Super Heroes
Metal Gear Solid
Parasite Eve
Star Ocean

Get a PSP and a memory stick (preferably above 2GB), downgrade it to at least 3.80 m33 and then start downloading games at pspiso.com (donations are optional). I myself have a 4 GB stick and I recommend to wait for the 8 GB. The 8 GB will last you forever. Also, movies should be in .mp4 format if you wanna watch it on the go. My PSP's holding 120+ songs, like 5 South Park episodes, some anime (Darker than Black, Elfen Lied, Full Metal Alchemist, etc), FFVII : Crisis Core, Patapon and Parasite Eve disc one.

THE SLIM VERSION.

The fat PSP's D-Pad is pure, total crap. If you want to play any fighting games, get a slim.

it really depends on what you want.....I have both

the fat PSP is good for downloading games from the PSX/PS1 and good for burning other games as well before they're even released

the slim is more proficient making stuff load and operate faster!!! obviously more lighter making it easier to carry around! just don't like how you put the games in though!

now game you should start with are:

God of War: Chains of Olympus
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology
Castlevania: Dragon X Chronicles
Sonic Rivals 1&2
Prince of Persia: Rival Swords(beware a glitches)
Medal of Honor Heroes 2
Ghost Recon
Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokia & another road

have many more...but those are my top favorite games!!!
