I have (-8) acute myopia - I can't make out a person's face from 3 meters away... My prescription is way high - they don't even make contacts in that range for myopics... I wish they did - I want contacts instead of these stupid clumsy glasses...

I have both, but I use them for different things.
I like to wear my glasses for when I'm relaxing, because they're easy to slide on and off.
However, I like wearing my contacts when I'm doing a lot of movement or I have to talk to people because I can really look them in the eye.

I perfer my contacts because I play alot of sports. But I have both glasses and contacts... My vision is terrible.
