I saw this new report and the thing that shocked me the most was that I was not surprised by it. We live in times were children are often making decisions by themselves, and have become a lot more independent then before. A lot of parents are not around to talk with and guide their children, a lot of them are just putting out fires as they arise. Our society has become more violent and accepting of violence.
What's even sadder was when they went to punish these kids they made one responsible, saying he plotted the whole thing. Even if that's true what do they think they are teaching the children that were willing to go along with this, and then after it was discovered they denied they were really going to do it.

America's educational system is in a sorry state when students can get into the 3rd grade without knowing how to properly conspire to murder someone. When my second grade class took out our teacher nobody tipped off the cops until well after the statute of limitations ran itself out.

People need to take better control of their kids. that is what happens when you have kids having kids. society tries to blame these things on video games and tv and gun control. But think about it, if the parents would control what their kid is watching or what game they are playing, depending on age group, we really wouldn't have this problem in the U.S. Parental control has gone to the shits in this country thanks to people who believe it is wrong to punish and discipline children. I hate this country...  |
