I think it would be great if Gundam Wing was re-aired on TV. Even though the series is nearly 12 years old, sometimes series can be re-aired after many years. The only problem is that even though, there are still many GW fans, I don't really know if there are enough fans who are still interested in watching GW for the series to bring in a lot of raitings. (Also, as Gundam Wing was the only Gundam series released in the UK, I don't really know how much more or less popular it was compared to other Gundm series released in the US). Maybe if the manga sidestories were animated, the series may become popular again.

Episode Zero is one manga that I definately should have been animated. Originally, the stories of the characters' were meant to be shown after episode 27 (The Locus Point of Victory and Defeat), but due to problems with schedueling, it was never fit into the series, and the manga Episode Zero was written instead. I wish it had been in the series (it would have been interesting to see animated versions of Middie Une and Meiran Chang).

I'd also love to see the animated version of Blind Target, my favourite GW manga so far (although I still haven't read Battlefield for Pacifists or the manga version of Endless Waltz). I found that it kept close to the style of the series (even though it was set in "peacetime") and explained what happened during the time period after the series and before Endless Waltz. Even if Blind Target is never animated (which is likely), it would be nice to have a translated verstion of the Blind Target radio drama (or even just an english transcript).

I don't feel that the manga Ground Zero should be animated though. Although I personally loved it and though of it a sweet, lighter story that broke away from the more serious nature of the series, some fans maybe dissapointed by its different style and the fact that some of the pilots were a bit OOC at times (Trowa's laughing fit didn't really seem right, although it was quite funny). Also Ground Zero was written in more of a shoujo style, so it doesn't quite fit with the series.

I also wish that they would release the Operation Meteor I & II OVAs with English Subs. *For anyone who doesn't already know Operation Meteor I & II were 2 OVAs
released in 1996, featuring clips from the series in the point of view of each pilot. It consists of 4 episodes with 7 new scenes as well as the clips* I haven't been able to find the full episodes anywhere and although I downloaded the 7 scenes, the subs were in Chinese. I couldn't even find any English fansubs. It's really annoying that Bandai didn't release an English version (subbed or dubbed) of Odds and Evens, beacause English speaking GW fans are missing out on 4 full episodes!!! As GW was so popular when it aired I don't see why they didn't release the OVAs. It could even have helped make the series more popular.

I think that the Gundam Wing novels and the sidestories "Tiel's Impulse" and "A Scythe in My Left Hand and You in my Right", should have been published in English. It could have only increased the popularity of the series as it would mean that there is more GW merchandise available.

-Erm sorry if I got a bit carried away.

I really just said all that because GW is my favourite anime. I enjoy watching the series, I've read most of the manga, and I enjoy looking at different fansites. I'd love it if my favourite anime was reaired but as I said in the beggining of my previous post, I'm not sure if the series is still popular enough to bring in enough ratings.

Indeed. Cartoon Network should bring the Gundam's back, but luckily we have crunchyroll now so it doesn't matter much.

Actually most have been removed, but CN should start showing the Gundam's again as well as other anime series

Well, if anybody remembers, CN re aired the original Gundam 0079 series a few years back, so why can't they re-air GW? I don't get it.

Personally, I'm much more passionate about the original Gundam universe, being a sci-fi geek.

I would really love to see the original be remade, but what I would really love to see is just one manga or OVA where they cross over every Gundam universe. Imagine getting to see Domon Kasshu and Kamille Bidan getting in a fist fight, or all the Char clones meeting each other, or watching Gihren Zabi and Treize Khushrenada teaming up to make the world's most frightening dictatorship, or Jeudau Ashta and Duo Maxwell getting in a drinking contest (even though they're underage). I just think it would be fun to see.

I personally feel that Gundam Wing was the best of the gundams. some may disagree, but It was the first anime I ever saw (not DBZ). I baught all of the discs and I am so happy that I did. It is one of the higher ranking animes and cartoon network should bring it back.
