What does everything think of this topic?
Do they deserve the same rights?
Or do u think it is just wrong?

I oppose gay marriage, marriage is between a man and a woman plain and simple, what about all of you?

i am not against it
but i do feel that they should be aware that other poeple may not be comfortable with it so they dont need to flaunt it in front of people who will obviously be offended by homosexuality

yeah, but gotta admit something between a guy and another guy...

Im all for it if thats what people wanna do. Personally i think that marriage has lost a lot of its value in the last few decades with so many ending in divorce. The vows people make dont really mean that much when 'forever' becomes, we've known each other 2 months, lets see if we can make it last until christmas kinda thing... But if anyone wants to express their love in that way i have nothing against it.

Although, the money people put into weddings these days is insane... anyone seen that show bridezillas

It's a heated debate but...
I think people need to stop worrying about silly things like who can marry who and start worrying about more important issues. Who cares if a guy wants to marry another guy or a woman another woman? There are things more important that the government and religious institutions should worry about like disease, war, criminals and the environnement.

I'm completely for gay marriage.

This is a wonderful topic that can potentially result in a great thread, but I think the majority of people here are far too young to fully grasp the situation and offer their input.

If you say so. However, there are many 11-13 year olds here that probably aren't.

I never brought your age into question. All I was saying was that, although a good debate can come from this thread, I really don't think many people here would be able to respond intelligently and maturely.

I think that gays should be allowed to marry because they are humans and should have just as much right to marry as anyone else.

I've had these debates over at school in my classes and my teacher once said, "Things are allowed as long as it is within the discretion of the mind." It only means that as long as people can rationalize that a subject, issue or an idea is acceptable and adoptable to our way of living then it can be "legal."

There was once a university professor who gave his students a project which is about making a propaganda that supports necrophilia which i assume everyone is familiar with. Well, everything went well, some were very convincing but then again necrophilia is just disgusting so they asked the professor why did he gave them such a topic. The reason is already stated above^.

One of the propaganda that was so convincing was this: necrophilia can be legalized mainly because every human person has the freedom and the proper rights so that they can express themselves. In other words, free will and human rights are abused to a certain extent that it can bend the rightful laws of nature, which is procreation and sexual intercourse among the living.

Same can be said about same sex marriage. It is just absurd. The only solid reason that these so-called supporters have is: "Since we are all human beings and we all live in a free world, we have the right to 'express' ourselves, therefore same-sex marriage should be accepted as a part of that right."

Seriously, this is the same thing as that necrophilia project. The bottomline is that we can use our so-called free will to bend or transcend solid laws of nature. Damn, if u want to be gay or lesbian then be a homo all you want as long as you don't violate the main principle of marriage: procreation, bitch!

Finally a good topic (I'm not a big fan of forum games )
But please, I don't want you guys to turn this controversial subject into an heated argument,
let's respect everyone's view and be open-minded when reading other people's ideas.
Also try to contribute to the discussion.

I'll give my views later.
Please continue
