I just got accepted into Rutgers Camden, and I had a few questions about transferring.

I plan to spend 2 semesters in Camden, then transfer to Rutgers New Brunswick. That would give me 1 year in camden and 1 year in new brunswick. I was hoping to transfer AGAIN (sigh) into a more competitive school(hopefully an IV league). Would the IV league school consider my 2 years in both camden/new brunswick a two year stay in ONE college? Or will they count it seperately and see it as 1 year at one school and 1 year at another?

I read that 2 years minimum is required to transfer to an IV league school, and I'm a bit confused and lost. Help this cute little person that is me!

first off Congratulations.
getting into College/University is always something to be proud about.

second of all definitely contact the adminstration office regarding this.
Though my situation was different ( i wont go into details )
I spent time in a foreign school, didnt contact admin and they only counted one year.
the other year basically became wasted.

not sure the policies of universities these days, but you can never be too safe.

PLEASE NOTE: UK and USA have different meanings for the word 'College'.
UK: a school after the age of 16 or used as part of the name of some British public schools (note: 'public' schools in England are actually private schools despite the name)
USA: University
