Have you guys ever heard of Hou Xian aka Hoho? Hes a manderin singer and hes now making a big impact on the chinese, yes CHINESE (Not taiwonese), music industry. They say hes made a new form of R&B, not R&B anymore but R&C. haha.

Well yeah, I was an early fan of his espeically when I first heard one of his frist songs "Eastside Love" Or something. I've been wating for over a year now for him to be famous. (I sound so retarted.) But I knew he was going to be something interesting. Alot of people say that his singing is similar to Jay Chau. His first album is called Ninth Princess? I dunno just look up Hou Xian Hoho on youtube. hehe.

Sorry if that was long I just love him.

My favourite Cantonese singer is Roman Tam, the way he sings or croons (well perhaps not that deep). I'd say he's the best Canto singer in Hong Kong, it was really sad he is gone now.

I love cantonese songs... though I cant understand them..

Sometimes there is the canto version and chinese version of a song.. I usually prefer the canto version... something to do with cantonese having 5 intonations and chinese only having 4.. i think..

Mainly though I listen to chinese music.. cos in singapore you wont hear much canto songs being played..

Sam Hui is one of my favourites too. He sings songs about daily lives and activities people living in Hong Kong do. His funny lyrics, humourous voice, I find it very interesting and pleasant. He's one great singer. There's this song he sang in duet with Leslie Cheung, and it is one of my favourite Cantonese song, I think its title is Cham Mak Si Kam. Hok San Go, Tin Choi Yi Pak Chi, Pun Kan Pat Leung, etc.

Some of my favourite Roman Tam songs includes, Ho Go Hin Kupp Nay, Si Zhi Shan Ha, Kam Yok Moon Tong, etc.

Too bad singers these days have pretty atrocious voice.

I have tons of Cantonese music on my computer, but I'm on my labtop right now. I have a large collect of Nicholas Tse music and also some very good songs by Kelly Chen and Faye Wong. Twins are tolerable, but you all should download Eugene Yip's "Baby, Don't Cry".

With Canto singers I reckon Janice Wei(衛蘭) and Jill Wei(衛詩) are quite good. Although they are twins they have different singing styles they are both veryyyyy good ^^. Well that's what I think but other people out there may have different opinions.
