it depends on your view of what "happiness" is, for some happiness is material goods which can be brought by money. For others happiness can be spending quality time with those you love

Well, true happiness can't be bought when talking about true love. But, to some people if they are so self centered and have enough money they can be happy. So, really it depends on the person someone born into money and always getting what they want may actually think the people around them care about them so they are happy. If they loose that money they may find that no one cared about them. Someone that never had money and gets money will see people and always find it hard to accept anyone because of trust. So in the end money can destroy everything when dealing with the heart. As for possessions if that is all it takes to make you happy then i guess you can buy happiness. Just comes down to the person. i could keep going but it would be boring for most of you.

Money is very important, not the most important, but it's pretty high up there.

You need money to be necessities, such as food, shelter, utilities, education etc. And without these I very much doubt you'd be happy or well off.

And then then all extra money is spent on wants and desires, clothes, holidays, cars, luxury goods, restaurants etc.

Face it. To be happy, you need money.

Money is what you make it out to be. You can always buy something that you will enjoy (drugs), but if what you bought only brings you down (drugs) then you would've been better off without the money to buy it. Hard work brings in money but a sac of weed can only last so long before you smoke it all. Again, money is what you make it out to be. To each their own~

Money is essential but Money is not the essence of life so Money really isn't EVERYTHING. In fact Happiness and fulfillment is so expensive that even those who have money can't afford it

I would think money is everything because giving out money to all the poor people can grant you happiness.

Money is not wealth. It's what you can buy with the money that is the wealth.

Real wealth is measured in dollars, but refers to actual things. What you speak of is just nominal.

The concept of money is everything...think about it, In order to receive you have to give and therefore you have what is called an exchange. This is occurring everyday, hour, minute and second.

I hate money. I hate that it controls everything. It's just a piece of paper and yet it has such a high importance to so many people.

Agreed.

Unfortunately, most of the world doesn't.

Well, if you think about it, money is supposed to be a more tangible form of labor/time. You work to raise a crop, you sell the food, you get money in exchange for your effort (essentially), you give it to someone else in exchange for their labor/time. The cycle goes on.

I agree. Money cant give you health. Yeah it can help cure you or help you br healthier but some like cancer you can get it even if your rich. Also i think you cant buy a true and sincere friendship with that.
