not that I see kids often because my 4 siblings all grew up on but I like to see kids playing in the park and going at elementary school, it reminds me innocence and living for real, not having to care about responsibilities and joy.

But I couldn't stand the babies, their endless screaming and helplessness, that was too much for me, but those 3 years or older were alot of fun to be around. One particular kid had a crush on me and he followed me around everywhere, that was really cute. Babies scare the crap out of me... "What do I do? What do I do? Oh my God. Oh, God." come to mind when someone tells me to hold/feed/watch/change/etc one. But yeah once they can really start hauling ass and playing with toys, love it. Mainly because I like LEGO and building blocks too... And juice boxes... Capri sun... good times. |

Trust me, I feel exactly the same around babies as you do, they are like tiny porcelain figures I'm afraid to crush, plus you can't really communicate with them like the older children. Felt a little weird I was getting paid to sit around a table playing with LEGO with the kids at times. But it sure is fun when they do. You never get too old to like LEGO I guess? Another thing I like about them is their absolute bluntness. The first day at work more than one of the kids pointed out to me how damn ugly my shoulderbag was. "Well I like their honesty" I thought silently to myself. |

Babies aren't as fragile as people seem to think they are.. however, I can understand your apprehension at holding/feeding/whatever someone's child that isn't yours. That's always a nerve wracking experience.
I typically don't like other people's children with rare exception. I have warmed up to them over the years.. I used to hate small children with a passion because they were obnoxious and loud and misbehaved all the time. I found out that I must have just met all the wrong parents/kids as a lot of kids are actually pretty alright. |

Winterfells Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Dude, tell me 'bout it. Even now if I buy a box, it is on like Donkey Kong... But yeah, as a kid I remember it taking a while before it was gone, but now it's like 3-4 sips and it's gone... Amunat Spoiler Alert! And building pillow/blanket forts... And supermarket plastic ninja/samurai swords... Haha yeah, they are pretty blunt. CanesGalactica Spoiler Alert! Yeah, like when someone else tells you to hold their baby, and you are doing it exactly the way you see them doing it, and then they somehow find a problem with the way you are doing it, and then it's "Okay, that's enough holding." And they take the baby back and are somehow mad at you for some weird stupid reason. |
