The King and the Clown (왕의 남자)

In the years of the infamous King Yeon San, two clowns start a play that is satirical of the king and become popular among the common people. But soon they get arrested for treason, and they bet their lives on making the king laugh with their play acting. Their fortunate success leads them to stay in the palace and perform regular plays. As the king shows growing attraction and love towards one of the clowns, they realize that they are into irreversible stages of their lives, entwined with desire, power and thick blood.

Gong Gil is a street performer (clown) that travels with his partner Jang Saeng. Later he, Jang Seng and the other clowns, stay in the palace to perform for the King. But Gong Gil was to become a concubine for the King for his beauty was like no other.

i even doubt my sight when the first time i saw the muvee,,,

i wonder is he really a boy, coz he is more beautiful than any other girl

but after watch Iljimae. i'm really sure he is a boy. coz he's so cool (>_<)

This movie proves that he is a really good actor. Could not guess that he was a boy.

His acting is so good...and he looks lovely...

He's looked so lovely in this movie! This was the 1st movie I've seen him in..and because of that I started watching his dramas. He's really AMAZING!! SO HANDSOME!! =D

this movie is funny , the last half of it is weird

yeah ... but everybody is dead XP but the last scene was beutiful everyone met in the end and they are happy huh and the king he died ??( prob yes huh ?)

they are not all dead I guess..
cause before it ends Gong Gil and Jang Saeng are alive they jumped in the rope but I guess they died.. cause there's something like a war at the end right .. so I guess they died..
the story is really nice and touching too.. both gong gil and jang saeng, they are like best friends or more than best friends, they protect each other ..

yeah u have right ther a war something like that and for sure JS died when he jumped b/c he blind hmm and GG maybe he died b/c of fell dunno But Thanks **HUGS** But the end was sweet Im happy
