You never get bored in Romania, that's for sure and one aspect that makes Romania livelier is that the Romanian language is a beautiful one. It is a language that survived all the influences from outside, borrowing words at some extent from the languages that mixed with it.
It is a language that can form and express words in a quite easy way, that seems rather difficult from a grammatical point of view, it is a language with a certain melodicity that was transposed in many poems and writing. Romanian is an inflected language comparable to other Romance languages, still with a quite difficult grammar. It has retained the cases of Latin, nominative, acusative, dative, genitive and vocative. The nouns have three genders: - masculine: un băiat=one boy/ doi băieţi=2 boys - feminine : o fată=one girl/ două fete=2 girls - neutral :un tren=one train/ două trenuri=2 trains. The word order is subject - predicate - object but this order can be easily changed. Concerning the interrogative, for example, the word order can be subject - predicate - object with a specific intonation or predicate - subject - object. 1.The Personal Pronoun I = Eu You =Tu He = El She = Ea We =Noi You (plural) =Voi They = Ei (masculine) They=Ele (feminine) 2.The Articles There are two kinds ,basically: The definite article: "the" : The noun "om" wich means man will receive -ul at the end man......the man = om......om-ul *For feminine nouns it's somehow different Femeie.........Femeia Woman..........The woman There are also neuter genders, they are used for objects mostly Avion.........Avionul Airplane......The airplane The undefinite article: "a", "an": Masculine Feminine Neuter "Un" "O" "Un" or "O" How do you tell if a noun is neuter? By counting. Un avion ,douã avioane - the singular is masculine but the plural is feminine.By combining the two ,you neutralize the effect.Good phylosophy |

Eu sunt Alex = I am Alex ....or you can say Sunt Alex De unde eşti? = I am Alex Where are you from? Din România = From Romania Sunt român = I am romanian Ce = What Şi = And În = In Din = From De unde = From where Enough with the grammar part...hehe..here we have some romanian expresion: Te iubesc=i love u Mi-e dor de tine=i miss u Mi-as dori sa fi cu mine=i wish u could be with me Te urasc=i hate u Nu te suport=i can't stand u Esti o scumpa=u are so sweet(for feminine) Esti un scump=u are so sweet(for masculine) This is the end of your second Romanian lesson.
